Bento is MORE than rice onigiri!
apple bunnies (can send tutorial link)
power truffles (Mix peanut butter and honey. Roll half a teaspoon in first raisins, and then generous amounts of cinnamon. Present in a mini muffin cup liner.)
carrot flowers (can send tutorial link)
grape tomato picks (slice in half, sandwich a cube of meat between top and bottom on a toothpick)
cross-cut bananas (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mbv_oc-DRfM/TTH
The meat of an orange (Peel away skin and pith AND that last layer of membrane. No strings and very shiny looking. Stack alternating right side up and upside down to optimize space.)
fruit salad (Use lettuce as dividers/cups)
SP User FragileWriter has a recipe for gluten-free flatbread and cabbage filling that are great as "wraps." If you have a dehydrator, I suppose you could use vegetable puree to make a wrap.
I know - sounds sacreligious - protein, veggies, fruits, and or healthy fats - avocado, nuts, seeds...
No breads, grains, beans, dairy, sugar, or processed foods...
I'm great with a skillet, healthy fat, protein, and two veggies... But my Ms Bento could use a little help
