Hi, I realize this group isn't very busy at this point but I hope someone can answer my question about Bentos. I have read a lot on Justbentos.com and about the ideal ratio being 4 rice, 3 veggies, 2 protein, and 1 fat/other/etc. Do other Sparkers really eat that much white rice? I realize the other types of rice probably won't form into the molds that some of you are using.
Since I am trying to lose weight I am trying to avoid white rice, white bread, etc. I am not even eating that much in the way of even whole grain carbs. But presuming I get to maintenace sometime soon, I'd be interested in taking brown rice sometimes.
I have been doing "Bento-like" lunches with Tupperware but I finally broke down and ordered the Laptop Lunches set, which should be here soon.
