I wouldn't mind a parnter. I really do need to get on track, and since its a new month, why not start now.
Umm. Lets see. I'm 22, easy going. I love to read, a lot. I write, sing, and I love video games. I can't stand the smell of smoke, especially cigarette smoke. I don't drink. I'm kind of a homebody. I love learning about other cultures. I'm in Nursing school. I don't really know what else to say. :D
I would like to have one, too, but I will be on vacation all week next week and I will not have access to a computer, so I won't be able to start working with my partner until after I get back.
I am mostly pescatarian, but I am not overly strict about it when I eat with others, as I believe sharing food is a gift. However, I cook for vegan and vegetarian family members (most of what I cook is vegan since that is the least common denominator), so I would be happy to be paired with someone who is vegan/vegetarian as I do understand their dietary needs/preferences (i.e. I won't be pushing dairy and I know my soy foods, lol), as long as they are not bothered by my fish consumption. I am happy to be paired with a omnivore, too.

I could definitely use an accountability partner. The idea of some real, mutual support sounds great, so count me in. I'm Stage 2 (as of this week!), and looking to be more focused and to have someone poke me about being lazy.
I'm a 29 year-old protein-based life form (carbohydrates and sugar make me sick), a casual writer/editor and I spend all day on my backside in my cube at work, which really does not help with my goal to lose 40 lbs/3 dress sizes by the end of the year. *looks hopeful and like a good buddy*

I would appreciate if you could pair me with a buddy, preferably for a shorter time period like a month or so? I try to eat well and exercise regularly but it seems that some days it is hard to gather the energy and the momentum to do my 100% when I'm tired or not feeling great.
I'm a 24 year old vegetarian. I lost all my weight a few years ago (45 pounds or so from 196 to 140) but unfortunately put it all back on over the last 2 /3 years. But at least I know I can do it tho ;)

I'm back in the saddle today, ready to buckle down and get things done. Hrm, guess that means I need to tackle the house too. Anyway...
Some of the other teams I participate in have set up accountability partners within the team. I got crazy lucky with my first one, and she's become a dear friend, a fantastic motivator, and sometimes slave driver. But she's what kept me going when things got rough, and was the first person I sought out when I came back from hiatus.
So, are any of you up for an in-team accountability partner? It would involve checking in with your partner regularly, by spark page or mail, preferably once a day, but that would be between both of you to decide. Also, you'd want to either give them access to your trackers via your sparkpage, or just be willing to mail them with your tracking... all of it, the good, the bad, the ugly, that carton of ice cream you chowed over the weekend.
If you're interested, please post here, and I'll try to have everyone paired up and with a partner within a week.
