I don't know if you have heard of it, but www.justbento.com is by a lady who is doing low-cal bentos.

I also used to routinely pack a whole days worth of foods in bento--breakfast, lunch, and dinner--so that's completely workable.

As for grazing, I found that my anticipation for my bento box was able to keep me from grazing too much, but you could pack a box to leave in the fridge of grazing foods so you don't have to think about it when you get home and also so that it looks pretty, which encourages me to eat that instead of my partner's potato crisps.

I sometimes use my bento for lunch and dinner or breakfast and lunch. I work 6-2 or 2-10 depending on the day. I really like my bento let me know how you do.

Thanks! I am going to gather some bento supplies and try to get it going. I am giving myself a start day of next Monday to have everything ready.

I think you'd be fine :) i'm by no means a 'pro' with bento. i was just about to crack open my make-shift box and prepare it for tomorrow's lunch. but it's late and i'm tired. though i could prepare it in the morning. anyway.. i think if you ate around 3pm then again at 7pm you'd be good to go. pack lots of veggies to crunch on if you feel you need to graze, that way it's healthy! :) carrots and celery are great for crunching as you spend more cals then you get from eating them raw! :)

have a great night!

I recently discovered Bentos and I really want to try them as a good source of portion control for myself. I work late hours 3pm-midnight. My question is, would it be too much to pack myself a 'lunch' bento and a dinner bento? I usually eat a lunch around 3-330 and my dinner is during my lunch hour at work, most night 6-7. Then I end up coming home and grazing which isn't good! I just don't want the double bento to be too much food. I don't think it would, if I use the 600 ML bento box and just watch the calories I think I would be ok. I just wanted to run it by some professionals first emoticon Thanks!
