2. Am I getting sloppy about my behavioral strategies and failing to plan? no

4. Am I nibbling again on whatever foods are around? yes, too much of that Halloween candy at work! (I didn't have any at home though)

5. am I being negligent about weighing myself regularly and guarding my weight ceiling? (when on Maintenance) no

7. am I skipping meals or snacks or going longer than 4 hours without eating? no

8. Are my clothes tight? no

9. Am I allowing my moods to dictate my foods? sometimes, probably my biggest problem area. I'll have to watch that.

With 3 Yes answers and two "not recently" answers, I am on the border. But since two of those are items I have no control over, I think I am OK. Gaining control over these items is not worth the cost, harmony in the home.

I like this list. It gives you some flexibility.

1. Am I eating any foods that I have a consistent history of abusing? Not recently.

2. Am I getting sloppy about my behavioral strategies and failing to plan? Yes. I can't plan if I want to eat what my wife prepares. I have to be flexible and adjust.

3. Am I eating too much of the right foods? No

4. Am I nibbling again on whatever foods are around?
No

5. am I being negligent about weighing myself regularly and guarding my weight ceiling? (when on Maintenance) No

6. Am I keeping problem foods in my house? Yes they are in the house. But I am not keeping them there. My wife is. Again, I have no control in this area.

7. am I skipping meals or snacks or going longer than 4 hours without eating? No

8. Are my clothes tight? No. I haven't bought clothes that fit me yet.

9. Am I allowing my moods to dictate my foods? Yes

10. Am I skipping exercise frequently during the week? Not recently.
