Check out this link...one woman's positive story...
http://weightwatchen.com/2007/01/tummy-t uck-pictures.html I found her through my WW Friends forum here on SP.
I had breast reduction surgery after I lost weight..I could have gotten the tummy tuck done at the same time for a really "good deal" price but felt I couldn't afford it since it was all out of pocket. (The BR was necessary and fully paid by insurance due to severe tissue damage) I have regretted not finding the money and if I had it do over would have used a credit card! I totally love the results of the BR.

I so want one too! I have hit my goal weight but still have my lovely "pooch" and stretched out "pear" shape excess skin. I too had 3 c-sections in 5 years and all were big babies (literally). I want to give myself 1 full year of weight loss off and re-evaluate my tummy tuck. I do have to have a hysteroctomy the beginning of 2008 and I joked with my GYN if we could arrange for the tummy tuck at the same time!!! A blue-light special!!!!
I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am.
I HAVE HAD A TUMMY TUCK. MAY 8TH. OF THIS YEAR. I DID NOT REALLY HAVE PAIN BUT I WAS SORE LIKE DOING TOO MANY CRUNCHES. MY DR SAID I DID VERY WELL. MY SCAR WILL BE VERY LIGHT. I WILL HAVE THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICS ON HIS WEBSITE BECAUSE I WAS A GREAT CANVAS. (DR SAYS) I ALSO HAD BAT-WINGS REMOVED IN AUG. NOW THAT ONE DID HURT, NOT JUST BEING SORE BUT REAL PAIN.
IM HAPPY WITH BOTH PROCEDURES I HAD DONE AND IF ASKED YES I WOULD DO THEM BOTH AGAIN.
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SURGEON IS BOARD CERTIFIED. HE SHOULD DISPLAY HIS CERTIFICATIONS ON THE WALLS OF HIS OFFICE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE I COULD SENT THE LINK TO MY SURGEON. IT TELLS WHAT HE DOES AND SHOWS SOME OF HIS WORK. AND SOME OTHER INFORMATION.
I sure don't have any personal experience on this, except that I too have a stretched belly from my 3 kiddos and 3 csections. If it was free and it didn't hurt at all, I would probably have one, haha, but I'm too broke and too chicken to have one. I'll be very curious to hear from those that have had it done though...and what it was like!
