Since you are on track with everything else, one dessert table of indulgence shouldn't affect aything. Stick with your new point and you'll probably be fine. (I don't do WW but know their points relate to calories somehow and that's what I know.)

I'm with our friends on this - don't think about it too much. By the end of the week, you won't notice any gain or if you do you'll still be under your goal. I still monitor my weight and if I'm 3-5 pounds over for a couple of weeks, then I start thinking about watching calories again.

I agree, I don't to WW, but I agree with AMISPERSON, don't worry about overindulging one day, none of us is going to be perfect every day for the rest of our lives...if you "mess up", just wake up the next day and treat it like nothing had happened. Stick with your points and your workouts and it'll all even out in the end.
I lost alot of weight doing WW but I couldn't maintain... I kept losing. What I've always heard is increase your points until you stop losing. It's a hard balancing act sometime. I wouldn't worry about overindulging one day. Just get back to your normal 26 pts. a day. If you are really freaked out about it, then exercise a little harder this week.
Did the people at the wedding notice your weight loss???

This is the beginning of my 4th week of maintenance and the counsellor suggested I go up from 25 pts. to 26pts. a day. I was on 22 pts. a day when I was trying to get to goal. I am now 1.5 pounds under my goal.
Here is the problem, I went to a beautiful wedding on the weekend and did really well on Saturday, even worked out but on Sunday they had this huge delicious desert table and alas I succumbed! Desserts are my weakness. All gourmet stuff!! Oh my God, was it unbelievable. Anyways, now even though I overindulged I was wondering for the rest of the week do I go up to the 26 pts. the WW counsellors suggested or do I cut myself back to 24 or even 22 pts. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?? Would appreciate your take on this. Thanks!
