This is a post after my own heart :) (or chest) I had 3 babies in the span of 2 1/2 years (twins) and nursed each for 11 months. My POOR breasts. Between the weight gain and loss and nursing YIKES. I was a nice firm and perky 34 B/C and now am 34/32 A...B on a good day.
I have also gone back and forth about surgery but am using it as an exercise in appreciating my body the way it is and for what it has done. As the first poster mentioned...pass the padding.

I went from a 38C to a 36B. All the skin's still there, though, so it's not pretty if I don't have support. LOL!
I made myself a renaissance costume in August '05 ("before" pic in my spark gallery, "after" pic to come later this month), and I had to take 3" out of each side, plus an inch out of the back, to fit the new me. My teacher also wanted me to put darts in the boob region, because it's too big there, too.... but that's a little too complicated for my sewing skills -- I opted for a padded bra and push-up inserts, instead! LOL!

I've been waiting for this kind of post. LOL. Between losing weight and getting older, the last bras I bought were called barely A and I still didn't fully fill them. That wasn't one of the areas that needed to get smaller. Sigh. Someday when I'm stateside I'll have to go to one of those stores that measures you and finds the right size.

I was a "normal A" before my SP experience, now I'm an A- optimistically :) Since I've never had boobs, my challenge is to stay slim enough that I can make the most of what I (don't) have...that means taming my middle-age belly pooch so it doesn't stick out more than my chest!

Good thread... I went from a 34D to a 34C which doesn't seem like much, but they sure look a lot less full. Hubby frowns on occasion as he really likes my curves and they are becoming less pronounced, but he has also said I look great and he's proud of me for sticking to my guns and my plan to be healthier and more fit. I used to be the fullest figured sister of the three of us, now I'm definitely not. I don't mind so much, they've never been perky, now that they're smaller they don't seem to hang so low (lol) and I'm good with that. I've always said make the very best of what you were blessed with....never thought about having any sort of augmentation done. I am what I am. ~Tika

I CAN RELATE. WHEN I STARTED LOSING WEIGHT I WAS A 38 DD NOW IM A 34A. MINE WENT FIRST. FOR ME THAT WAS HARD BECAUSE ALMOST EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY IS HEAVY IN THE CHEST. WHEN MY GENETIC TESTING COMES BACK I WILL CONSIDER A BOOB JOB. DR WONT DISCUSS IT TIL THEN, AND I DONT WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT TIL THEN. I SHOULD HAVE RESULTS IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS. I WENT 3 WEEKS AGO FOR THE BLOOD WORK AND THE LAB HAD TO CONTACT INSURANCE CO. TO SEE IF IT WAS COVERED. I GUESS IT IS A GOOD THING THAT MY PLASTIC SURGEON REQUIRES THE TEST BEFORE HE WILL DO BOOB JOBS.
too funny MARG..it does feel like "deflation", doesn't it?
I was a little shocked at first..went from 34DD to a 32D (although it seems like I lost more than that). But, really, thats the only disadvantage I can think of for the weight loss so it was easy to accept. My dh did make the comment at one time that I was "shrinking everywhere" and I know just what he was referring to...

Nina, I'm in the same boat. In fact when I was at my heaviest I was pushing out of my D cups, and now a B and lets just say gravity has not been the kindest. I'm understanding why people consider boob jobs. LOL... I also understand why older women cried over these things and I as a highschooler was confused. LOL Now, I get it....
I've backslidden... I reached my goal and was now maintaining, but now I need to lose 10 pounds and firm up.

I missed mine at first...but I'm still pretty heavy chested for my size. It was putting such a strain on my back, I'm happy to have them gone in one way. I went from a 44DD to a 36D. My back is thanking me. :P
