I bought quite a few size 4s a few months ago when I sold all of the 8s! I am now in mostly 2s and XS, which feels wonderful! I certainly don't want to get any smaller, but this seems to be a "normal" thing in maintenance. Hum - interesting subject.

Oh, and congrats!!!!

I am laughing Denise! I actually have still got a butt. It is a nice sized bump and keeps me just out of a smaller size and I am not complaining. I am blessed to be flat on top, not on bottom, lol!

Very true Denise! I looked at my backside the other day and was astonished to find my butt completely disappearing. It has been my most prominent feature my whole life. I still wear the curvy fit pants, but maybe not for much longer!

I agree ..when I went on maintenace in Feb I was a 4 and creeped down to a 2 and some of those are too loose. But I don't think I will lose anymore since my weight seems to have stabilized. Wait until you are on maintenance for several months before you spend a lot on clothes or you will be spending a lot on alterations. Of course, Garden, outofcontrol and I are runners and I think our body composition is different because of that (translation - no butt!).

I think that maintenance is the reason Kohl's has clearance racks, LOL. I just hit them today. I bought all new stuff at the end of summer before I started SP and running. Lets just say that NONE of it fits and my neighbor is now very happy about it since she came "shopping" last night.

Twice now I have thought that I reached my final size and could start rebuilding my wardobe. Luckily I didn't spend too much money. I have a very small wardobe of things that fit me right now. I am probably still a size two in other pants, but all I wear is the Banana Republic Contoured Fit, and in that I now need a 0. Just a year and a half ago I was a size 10 in the same style. So my advice is to just buy a few things for now and wait a few months to see what happens. I am so glad I only bought one new suit since it only lasted 6 months!

Congratulations!! So now you're headed for...size 0?? If you're shrinking in maintenance, maybe I should rethink my plan to "refill my closet" with my current size...any advice? Do others keep getting smaller at the same weight?

After buying size 4 pants this week, I just cleaned my closet out of size 8's...it was a scary but liberating experience.

Even though I have been maintaining the same weight for the last few months, I am slowly getting smaller, I guess because of all the exercise. These jeans that were my first size 2 are now too loose to wear. emoticon
