Popping in late. I got up early and sang for both church services--a women's ensemble and the regular choir. It was "meat day"--the pick up for my CSA shares of beef, pork and eggs. Sad to hear Kellie's news. I'm counting down the days until my doctor's appointment and first Rolfing session. I'm really tired of hurting.

It was a good day. I spent three hours feeding horses and stripping and rebeding stalls. It was a great workout! The weather was warmer and it felt good to be outside. Snow is on it's way again, so I'm glad I got to enjoy it.

Hello all! I am here to maintain my weight after losing all my weight counting bites. I am working on finding that perfect bite number that keeps me in my 5 lb weight range of 147.5 to 152.5. I read to increase food slowly when going into maintenance. I workout around 48 min to an hour a day of cardio/strength training. I log my food/bites everyday. I make commitments on stickk.com to help keep me accountable and on track

Sparktacular Sunday all!

Woke up and decided to glam myself up (after days of feeling yucky), hair, make-up, and heels, all just to go out for breakfast emoticon I got a lot of odd looks, but I felt better than I have in days. emoticon

MAREE- I just started reusing my hot rollers this week since I've been sick and not washing my hair so often (not sweating it out). I get lazy using a curling iron.
Toni- Thanks for the heads up about Kellie, so sad.
Donna- Did I miss your movie review of Three Days to Kill?

Have a great week everyone.

I"ll try again to make it more of a habit to check in here. I had a rather high eating week, but feel good today after a moderate Saturday and breakfast today. Wish I had set up a walking/hiking buddy today. I may go to dance class instead.

Maree, like you, I slept in this morning. DH just left for a week of travel, and we felt we needed the time to laze together.

Toni, thanks for the link to Kelliebean's blog. How very sad.

Thomasina, please, please don't send that snow to Virginia!

emoticon Yikes, we woke up this morning to a winter wonderland, with heavy wet snow and it's still snowing.. the rain is coming later to wash it all away though!! but I think It'll take a couple of days for it all to leave.

Exercise and eating on track. I've stopped tracking my dinners, quite a while back, mainly to see if I could maintain without tracking every morsel as that gets very time consuming and for me one more thing I don't really want to have to think about. So far so good as I'm still below goal weight.

Good morning, Team! Toni, thanks for the link for Kellie's blog. I had not seen it yet. My thoughts and prayers are with her today.

I find it so amazing how this virtual community feels so connected with each other. I have never experienced such a close knit community among people who have never met before. It fascinates me how close I have become to so many of you and how when you experience tragedy in your lives, I feel it too. The support of our SP friends is so important to our daily lives each day and more so when we experience difficulty in our personal lives. I am grateful for these connections.

Went to church with the girls this morning. Had a nice breakfast and I have to head out to help some college students with a project. Hope everyone has great day!

I set my alarm for 5:30 this a.m., to get a workout in before church, but couldn't do it. Needed more sleep. Looks to be a beautiful day, though, so I'm planning on a long walk after church. Didn't track my food yesterday, but the little weight I was up yesterday is back down this morning, so I guess I did alright.
Have a great Sunday!

The weather is very nice here in the mtns of NE GA. However, I spent most of yesterday in my laundry room, painting it! Still have to get it finished today so I can wash the last week's worth of dirty clothes. Wow, I am so sore, esp in my legs from crawling up and down a step ladder and kneeling on the floor. Got my workout in though.

Its 10 degrees here in Milwaukee, still cold and more artic vortex coming. Isn't going to warm up anytime soon. So I will continue to walk in our condo hallways. Yesterday went to an all day religious retreat. Came home spiritually satisfied and thrilled at the feeling of peace and quiet within myself. There were about 12 of us women and right from the beginning of the day we bonded and enjoyed each others company. What a joy to have everyone care for each other. No personality issues no clicks just one happy group of ladies who were accepting of each talent one had to offer to make the day perfect. Today we are meeting our son for lunch at an Italian grocery store that serves specialty sandwiches. I know I will probably have more points than normal, but will adjust breakfast and dinner accordingly. I am also leading a tour at the Jewish Museum Milwaukee for 8 young men from AEPi fraternity at 2:00 p.m. So it will be a busy day.

Thanks for posting the link, Toni.

Went for a nice walk in the sunshine yesterday. I'm up early and headed for the grocery store. Think I'll get some upper body weight training in sometime today. Everyone have a great day!

Good morning! It was so beautiful yesterday that I went on a 10 mile run. Funny, though, I tripped at mile two and felt a little twist in my ankle. I ran a couple steps on it and wondered if I was done! But, it didn't hurt and didn't hurt until I finished my run and got out of my shoes at home. It's a bit ouchie. But, minimal swelling and no bruising. So, I'll be taking it easy on the cardio for the next few days and focusing on ST which is my weakness.

We took my son to the Lego movie in the afternoon and he had earned a "movie treat" by helping his dad, so we split a med popcorn. I ate several handfuls but feel pretty good about my moderation.

It's supposed to be another lovely day, but between church, cub scouts, and small group tonight, I won't get out in it too much. And then tomorrow the winds are to return bringing with them the cold and snow again. Boo! I need spring!!

Good morning. It's going to be warm today so I'll get in some more shoveling - more like picking ice these days. Off to church and then meeting some friends for a late breakfast.

Thanks for the link about Kellie's Mom. Will check it out now.

Thanks for the heads-up Toni - dashed over there and left a comment. Pookasluagh - congratulations on your anniversary. woo woo. Ouch! Mandycat - though I am sorry - I did chuckle a little. I have notoriously weak ankles and whenever I twist one and go down - quite colorful language flows out of my mouth. If Himself is anywhere near he's going to rush up and shout "Here Here. You can't use language like that!" which always makes me furious and laugh at the same time. Hope you're better soon.

Yesterday I took the old home movies over to watch with my mama at her nursing home. We had a delicious hour and a half together, watching the family when it was full of toddlers, then school kids, then teens, then grandchildren. It was a sweet morning. I spent hours in the car - and still got in lots of exercise anyway. And got in some retail shopping. woo woo.

It's a blue sky day today with warm temperatures - gonna get all the laundry out on the line this morning. Hope your day is full of pluses and positives.

Spring can't get here quick enough for me.

Talking about mid 60's today. I'll take it.

Have a great day all -- heading downstairs for a cardio blast and then breakfast. May be able to squeak in some skeet this morning. Not sure if I can fit it in. We will see what we will see.

Have a great day.

Good morning!! Wow, I slept late, and well! What a wonderful day yesterday!! Sunshine and 47 degrees! I ran the 5k route at the park and was pleasantly surprised how good it felt although my partner, the Shepherd-golden mix, is not as conditioned as I. She will be 8 in May--maybe I am expecting too much. Then I was able to work outside cleaning leaves off the patio. I bought a new tapered curling iron and fluffed my hair up -- DH and I had a nice dinner out. I got the salmon and brought half my dinner home.

Sounds like it was a pretty good day for the whole team. Especially DC--ah forsythia and pussy willows--that says spring!!

Hope it's a great Sunday for all my friends here!!
