Just rain here! I was exhausted by the time I got the cat home from the vet last night. He apparently has allergies. In addition to changing his food and giving him antihistamines it was suggested that I have him professionally bathed, since he's so big. Well, on the way home he got so upset that he had diarrhea and then threw up, so I didn't have much choice! He was pretty good about it, all things considered, but cleaning up a 20 lb. Tom cat is a workout! I didn't shampoo him, that I will leave to the pros!

No snow in Southern Calif, but the clouds are in and the sun is hiding. Went to dentist first thing and now not motivated to get out for long walk. Something about these cool dark days makes me want to stay inside. Got to get over it quickly. Watched the eating this weekend and weight is down to 154.5. No parties or travel until Thanksgiving.
Sunny in Southern California PST

No snow here, but it was about 20 degrees this morning. With getting dark so early, I cannot run outdoors, so I will head to the gym for some cardio classes, or ST...decide when I get there I guess!
Hi All, Snowing this morning but not sticking to the ground or the grass. It is expected to get warmer later this week. I walked the dogs for a half hour. Yesterday I went to the gym and on the treadmill for 30 minutes and on the elliptical machine for 15 minutes. I will have to go again tomorrow. Linda from bean town

Hi all! I'm not a fan of the snow either, just a dusting on the trees and grass, none on the street and I'd be happy. But living in the Chicago area for 48 years has taught me not to expect that.
Everything looked magical and peaceful when I left work yesterday.
Didn't get much activity in besides two walking breaks yesterday. Trying to decide what I want to do tonight. Trying to keep on track!

We've got snow here too. Not much, but more than enough for me. It is supposed to be cold for the next few days, so it's not going anywhere either. Hoping for a thaw this weekend. Working 8-5 all this week till Sat. Bag is packed and ready to hit the gym after work. Tomorrow I meet up with a running coach to plan my training for the year in preparation for the Chicago marathon next fall. Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!

Oh no no no! I WANT snow in VA. Pleeeeease.
LOL - of course I always wish we got snow in summer, when we need it but any snow will do. Himself and I took a very long stroll around the fields yesterday. Now that the crops are out we can walk where we never go during growing season. Covered about 4 miles of new terrain. But the rough ground was hard on my left hamstring. I will do the stationary bike today - exercise without the weight load.
Most of the autumn color is gone from the trees now, but the beauty is still here. I particularly love the way the sunset light slants in the autumn, making lace patterns through the bare trees on the walls in the living room.

Ugh Snow ---- I can not deal with is anymore. Happens way less here in Virginia than it did in Mass. Still can't stand it.
Cardio day today. Here I come to beat myself again. That's the name of the game. Hard work and dedication. That is what is required if you want to keep what you have attained.
Best to all today.
Be safe and be happy.

Feeling a little sluggish and looking forward to a gentle yoga class today. Taking care of health appointments this week, necessary but boring!
Capping the day with a friend. Going to dinner and theatre tonight--a sure mood booster!
Grateful for a few quiet days as the holidays approach.

Good morning! We have snow. Not much but it's still pretty early.
I'm headed to the gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min Intensity HIIT. I was hoping for a quiet day yesterday to catch up but it was a busy day. saying goodbye to DD and granddaughter and gray skies made it a sad day, so busy was probably a blessing.
Hope it's a great day for all!
