Things are looking up. The bend on my knee is 105 on the machine and at least 100 when the pt bends it back. I can sleep on my side now w/o pain. Thanks for your comments, your prayers and goodies. I don't get on here every day but do get on some. I keep busy. Irene

Happy veterans day to all you vets, active duty personnel and their families! Made it through my birthday and had WAY TOO MUCH sugar etc, but that's all done now and I have made up my mind to take this marathon seriously next year, so today, back on track - spending some extra quality time figuring why I buy into others misery and stress/emotional eat because of it. I am looking into what charity I will run for and will be making inquiries over the next couple of weeks. Got workout clothes etc organized for the eek so that I can pack a bag and hit the gym on the way home each day. Setting a goal of at least 1/2 hour each work day and perferrably 300-500 cals burned minimum.

I had a fibromyalgia sore kind of day yesterday, but worked it all out with gentle exercise and am not as sore today. I also worked through the stressors that set it off, which really helps.
I've been nibbling too much lately and need to curb that.. I only do this while I'm preparing food and it's a bad bad habit.. I'm only 11 days away from my one year maintenance goal and I sure don't want to sabotage that!!! I'm still under goal, but that nibbling can add to weight gain pretty fast.

Ugly day yesterday. Felt totally discombobulated. Planted myself on the couch to watch marathons of favorite shows and flat out stuffed my face. No exercise beyond doing a few chores. Trying to make today better. I swam my 1200 m this morning in 37:19 and did day 20 of the 30-day plank challenge (2.5 min).

I am thankful for all the service men and woman. I have off from work today. I walked the dogs and want to go to the gym. I have a few errands to do and try to clean the clutter out of the house. Best wishes for a great day. Linda from bean town
Thanks to those who served and their families. I'm working this Monday and looking forward Ha!) to taking my 20+ lb cat to the vet to see if we can figure out why the back of his neck is scabby. He doesn't do well on car rides. I'm going to make this a good week!

Today is crisp and clear and I'll be outside doing something - walking for sure - maybe a little daffodil planting. I still have 100 to get in the ground. They're small though. They need smaller holes. I still haven't tried that plank - maybe today would be a good day to see how long I can go. It's been a somewhat heavy eating week but I believe I am still within the weekly numbers.
I'm going to visit my uncle next weekend too, so I plan to go through the family photos and take a pile with me for him to identify.

Good morning and happy Veterans Day. A special thank you to all who have served and are serving, as well as their families.
I'm headed to the gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min Dynamic ST class.
We went to a party yesterday and I over ate. Looking back I should have eaten lunch so I wasn't vulnerable to the appetizers, and I should have asked the cook for a smaller bowl. Next time I'll do what I know works for me.
Hope all those who have a holiday enjoy their day and those of us who are working have a good one too!
