I worked on the election board all day yesterday. That makes exercise impossible. And eating?! Oh my! Those ladies brought pie and cookies and cake and chips. I brought nuts and some flax seed crackers I made.

The girls tried my crackers and we laughed and laughed. NOT something they would eat, but my flax seed crackers are a real treat for me

So even though I was the butt of their jokes, it was OK. They recognized that I'm really working on being healthy. I resisted the cupcakes and am proud of sticking with a good food regimen for the day.

We can do it!

Today has been a great day. It was my anniversary and I had a wonderful day. I did my workout, stayed in nutritional range and drank my water. All in all I had fun.

Back from weekend with DD, SIL and grandson. Did have a piece of pumpkin pie last night but passed on the whipped cream. Will weigh in tomorrow and see what damage the weekend did. My foot is still hurting but I am going to get back to my walking tomorrow.

I'm all discombobulated. Ipad is out of commission and it's been a hectic few days. I'm behind on all things Spark but I'm trying.

I'm loving my fitbit. I find I am racking up 10,000 steps way faster than my last cheap pedometer told me I did.

Finished my last 5K Sunday at the Hot Chocolate Run. It was a ton of fun. Now I need to get my plantar faciitis taken care of. Thanks Logould for the recommendation but he's not in my network so I have to see someone else. We'll see how it goes.

I went to yoga tonight, then walked the dog, then did dishes and now I'm trying to catch up on everyone. The post yoga exhaustion is kicking in. I will be sound asleep soon. Best sleeping night of my week.

Checking in at lunch-time. Busy week this week with work before we leave for our Disney cruise on Friday. I am so excited. Still need to look for a new dress for formal night. Had a few too many pieces of candy last night. Scale was up a pound this morning, but I got to the gym and my nutrition is back on track.

This is a danger week at work. We're celebrating radiology week and there will be good every day. Today is cookie day and I decided to just have a couple of the cookies I brought for breakfast. I did bring a low calorie soup for lunch. I did some food prep over the weekend. We had a rehearsal last night and there is a rehearsal for one or both of us every day this week except for Friday. Onward and upward!

The scale is up a pound today but I'm not concerned about that. It's cold out but I'm planning to head out for a walk now so I don't chicken out later in the day! BRRRR!!!!

Good morning team!
Got up and did a kickboxing video. Finishing up my breakfast and coffee. The scale was up a little the past three days so will focus on water, protein and fiber today. Taking the girls to the dentist this afternoon. Wish us luck!

Good morning, Spark People! Fall is here in Ohio. Yesterday I did my first raking...more to come. Raking is not my favorite thing to do, but I try to tell myself it's great exercise...and it is! Trying to keep that optimistic attitude all day. Have a good one, friends!

Up and getting ready for work. Yesterday was nothing like I had planned, but was good to get to relax in the morning and watch the marathon. The rest of the day was spent getting food prepped for the week and getting the car running. I even THREW AWAY the left over donuts that remained after the departure of our house guests. BIG woohoo on that one....my sister actually went into the garbage after them, but at leadt I won't touch them now. Nutrition was okay yesterday, a little on the high side, but weight remainded steady - within range but still 2 lbs over center. Going to be watching it close this week so I can splurge a little Sunday for birthday celebration. Have a Marvelous Monday everyone!

Pretty weekend with lots of walking and exercising. The sun is so inspiring!! I felt like it was the "peak" of fall, but perhaps there is more to come.

I love weekend cooking. Roasted butternut squash yesterday and my DH and I split a Cornish game hen I cooked with lemon and rosemary. Yummmmmm, and healthy.

I hope everyone has a "movin' Spark Monday." I'm wanting to launch my week with a good attitude...right after I finish this coffee and get off my sofa!

What a wonderful outdoor weekend we had - walking, hiking, planting daffodils and collecting black walnuts. I've got lots of walnut trees and never collect them because it's tedious work. But this year I am determined. One big wire rack full of them, hulled but not shelled, on the back porch. 4 times that many still out on the ground.

This week is weigh-in week and since I'd been flirting with going over my limit, I was extremely careful this weekend. I think I am finally getting it - maintenance means you stop indulging the moment you see the scale change. Duh. On the elliptical for me tonight.

Good morning!

What a wonderful sermon yesterday. I really needed that. DH's brother struggled through the delivery of a heart-warming eulogy for their uncle at a packed house. He will be missed. I indulged at the dinner but kept portion size small.

I'm headed to gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min Dynamic HIIT class. Pure protein day for my nutrition. I definitely need to watch water intake -- still making up for blood donation.
