I'm pretty much a morning person too, but really HATE the coming cold. Had an early morning run and then church planned for this morning, but the car died yesterday(think I'm just needing a battery). Going to relax a bit this morning, watch the NYC marathon and then get the car running and go get a battery. As for nutrition, had one mindless slip yesterday when I discovered the dead car. Still stayed in range and tossed out the rest of the donuts this morning. Been staying on the monthly fitness challenge with my running group, but really need to get out for a run. Maybe after I deal with the car. Hope you all enjoy your Sundays!!!

Good morning everyone. I am SO glad that daylight savings time is over. I love it when darkness closes in early and I can go home and snuggle into the night. That's because I'm a lark - a morning person. My loved ones, night owls, all, are not happy but I give them the summer. They can give me the winter.
All those piles of laundry got done yesterday something like 5 loads. And I got a great walk in with the puppy while Himself was sailing with the bigger dog. Photos in today's blog.

Wow -- The time changed messed with me big time. I was up very early this morning.
Feeling good and holding my own. Great day at the races yesterday and the weather was great!
Resisted all the tempting desserts and stuck with roasted vegetable and steamed shrimp. No guilt and no price to pay today.

Good morning Toni and all who will post later! My body clock has been responding to the shorter days by being ready for sleep by 7:30--I've been forcing myself to stay up till 8:00. So I'm not sure how I'll adjust with the time change. It usually takes me a while.
Thanks for all the caring sentiments. This will be a long day. Hoping to do a short run, then church, traveling to visitation and memorial service and dinner and then traveling home.
Good Sunday morning! Here we are with our hour "returned," marking the end of daylight savings time in the US. My body was not ready to take full advantage of it this morning so here I am, up with the chickens. (I really can here a rooster crow in our neighborhood--kind of cool.)
I'm going to keep it simple and active today. I've been thinking a long time about how to "de-stress" Sunday. I usually have no Monday deadlines, so it is definitely time I can kick back. I wish all of you some "kick back time" in your Sundays too!
