Relaxing today from going to church yesterday to see all the teens from different churches come an dance. It was really nice to see the teens come to the Lord house on a Saturday to do this. It was just awesome. So now I am in pain from sitting on the edge of the bench because I couldn't sit back. The house was full.

Praise God for our young teens

Back helping out at my daughters. Got in a 20 min walk and did pretty well with food choices. It is hard to maintain when routines are disrupted

Hi All, I cook a tuna casserole from the Spark people recipes. I had one serving and had to freeze the other 5 servings. I am cooking a meatloaf and will have to freeze five servings again. Mandy--Let us know how that recipe turns out. It sounds awesome. My niece and one of my nephews and I started "Squash Club" a few years ago because of our shared love of winter squash!
I stayed up until 1 am finishing a book. It was that good. A Grown-up Kind of Pretty, by Joshilyn Jackson. It was nice to wake up with a start ("It's almost light!") and then realize that it was Saturday and I didn't have any plans.
Weight down this morning. I hope I don't undo all my efforts of the week in the next two days. Have a great weekend!

Good morning team! Me and DH had been planning a date night all week. Movie and sushi. We have to drive 2 hours round trip for sushi so it is a real treat. But it looks like date night is off :( Had to pick up Anna sick from school yesterday. High fever, wheezing, coughing. The school nurse was worried it might be the flu. Couldn't get in to see a dr. (small town ugh). They were saying to keep a close eye on her and if it got worse to take her to the ER. What?! Well, she is like a new kid this morning. Still coughing, but much better. My mother was going to watch them while we went out. She's 70 years old, smoker, poor health and I just don't want to risk her getting sick.

Oh, well. I have a fancy new recipe to try at home. Lasagna stuffed spaghetti squash. Everyone have a great day!

Good morning, Spark Friends! Happy Saturday! Yesterday was a great food and exercise day. I weighed in at my lowest weight ever the day after my One Year Sparkversary (Woohoo!) and I stayed well within my range for food and did my ST class with a 1.5 mile run. Since I hit my target weight within my goal range, I changed my goal weight on my ticker. Hoping to maintain this new goal weight within range.

It is a beautiful morning today. DH took the girls to soccer practice so I had time to make a large pot of turkey chili to bring up to my sister's house for her Halloween/Fall Outdoor Party! We have so much fun outside and it looks like the weather in New England will be nice for her party. Excited to see family and friends I have not seen in quite awhile. Going to make this day count by having fun with the girls too. Sometimes the stress of our daily routine during the week can be difficult for all of us.

Mornin all!

A little bleary. I was up at 3am with a dry cough. Not sure what that was about. Major congestion too so a took a benedryl. Feeling a bit hung over now. Trying to shake the cobwebs, get the lab for a walk (brrrr) then the Spark 28 Day Bootcamp 30 min Total Body workout.

Nutrition in my happy range once again, and I did my ST. Resting my arthritic hip today, it has gotten very inflamed and just needs a little time off.

Had a fabulous Chinese chicken and broccoli rabe dish for dinner - yum!
