No time for logging in food and no exercise although I was busy. Did an extra day of volunteering today and then spent the rest of the day getting ready to leave town for a few days. Didn't eat badly but probably more sugar than I should have. Feeling a little tired for allergies.

Happy Friday! Checking in late today but it has been a busy day. Weighed in at my lowest yet, even though I celebrated my one year sparkversary with a piece of crumb cake yesterday. Woohoo! How great is that? Went to the gym yesterday and sis my advanced step class and logged over 14,000 steps on the day. I do not know how some of my teammates track over 20,000 steps each day. That is amazing to me.
Looking forward to a fun weekend. Going to my sister's house for a Halloween party for the kids. She lives in a rural area of CT with a lot of property so she has hay rides and a bouncy house for the kids. They love it!! I get to see my mom too. It will be nice to have the family together.

First frost of the season...love being able to turn on the fireplace! Swam this morning and managed all 1000 m doing crawl. Then I added another 100 m using varied strokes. Felt really good to be in the water.
Hi team. In "balmy" St Louis for my race Sun. Today is the expo so I'm meeting friends for a carb loading lunch, walk around the arch and downtown them the expo. Headed with the family to KC for my nephew's taekwondo tournament Sat. Home Saturday night and race on Sunday. Maybe THEN I can slow down. Hahaha! Have a wonderful weekend team!

DC, I'm with you--I feel the cold more than I used to. There was a bit less fog this morning, so I didn't look out my kitchen window and see nothing. My weight is the same as yesterday. Does Anyone have the new Spark tracker yet? I'm still debating it. It does seem to have both pluses and minutes. For now, my trusty pedometer will do, but I really like the idea of it auto-syncing to the site. Happy Friday!
Good morning team! I had a good weigh-in this morning. Have had a really focused week. Trying a new recipe this evening that I'm excited about. DH has a work obligation tonight so I will take that time to do some strength training. Everyone have a great day!

Brrrrr in Northern VA too. Slept well though I repacked my suitcase in my mind (trip to Portland Oregon, this weekend for a memorial service) a couple of times. I knew what I wanted to take for the service but can you believe, Maintainers, that I almost forgot to pack my skinny jeans for knocking around Portland the day after? What was I thinking!! We can't make this stuff up...
I hope everyone enjoys their October day. "Frost on the pumpkins!" is what my dad used to say on mornings like these. It makes me smile to think of that.

good morning spark maintainers. We had our first frost yesterday - the fields were furry with crystals as I drove off the farm. It was a crazy busy day as I had an early morning session with my personal trainer (who told me he's retiring in March ... weep weep) and the refrigerator was delivered at 10:30. All the way back home to be there when the delivery men came because Himself had driven off somewhere. Then back to work to cram a day's worth of stuff into 5 hours. Whew. Good thing I got my workout in early. I can feel that holiday drumbeat thrumming in the background. It's that hectic time of year.
I'm up a little early--excited for the day as DH and I are headed over the river and past the woods to granddaughter (and DD)'s house we go--late afternoon. Logould we'll be in St Louis! Would be cool to meet up. Hope you're having a great vacation. I have a friend who is "pacing" for that race--will check it out. Are you running or cheering?
DH and I have Intensity (HIIT) this morning. Trainer always makes it challenging on Fridays. (Every day is super challenging for me!) I love it; I hate it--but I love it more. I think I'm adding muscle though, which is showing up as additional weight. A period of adjustment but clothes still fitting great.
