Spending the day entertaining the bridge group and then going to a presentation on South Africa this evening - don't see getting much exercise in, but the weekend is here! Will get it in over the weekend.
Had trouble sleeping through the night, so I finally got up and logged into work early, then went for a jog. Finally got my 5K time under 35 minutes, but it was pretty chilly, so that likely made me want to go faster and generate heat. Busy day at work...just feeling really good about this telework pilot that lets me work from home more often.
Hey DC! I love my Kindle Fire...I'm posting from it now! I still like the e-ink screen better for straight reading, but the Fire is all the tablet computer I need. Low enough on calories yesterday that I had plenty left for a nightcap after I got home from choir practice last night. Weight still trending down, but not far enough!

Good morning team. Had a great nutrition and exercise day yesterday. Today is cardio, but I slept when I shoulda been running. My car is in the shop, so that through a kink in my routine as well. We have volley ball this evening, so it is going to be really tough to fit in a workout. Everyone have a great day!

Quick check in while I finish packing the car. Vacation officially starts this morning, an unlike most people, my vacation is a reset time for me. I'm headed to St Louis to visit my baby sis (47 years young) and she is a physical trainer and competes in figure competitions. Lots of VERY healthy eating and gym time and will run the St Louis RnR Half-marathon on Sunday. Really looking forward to a few days of no particular obligations. Plans to meet up with some friends and to see my nephew in his Karate competition and then spend some quality time visiting with my sis and working out. Have a tremendous day everyone!

I slept in this morning and feel relaxed and happy. Busy day yesterday that included some new training as well as work and a break to have lunch with two friends. I did not get a bunch of activity in, but will work on that today on the elliptical.
Weather turned cold and fall like last night. Love the snap in the air and the color finally arriving.

Good morning spark friends! I am up listening to the girls talking in their room after just waking up. I still keep the monitor on through the night so I can hear them if they have a problem. So cute to hear their little voices. Yesterday was a very good day for exercise and my food choices were healthy too. I stayed with mostly protein and vegetables and no Halloween candy. Woohoo! Today is a cardio day with my advanced step class and a short run on the treadmill. Then off to do some work. Hope everyone has a happy Thursday.
Playing with my new Kindle Fire and killing time this morning which is starting to get me restless as I need to go exercise and get my day started like others in order to feel good and happy about myself. After coffee of course. I can play with the kindle later.

Yesterday was a particularly full one for me too - with my quarterly board report (think performance review by kind boss ...a positive experience but still stressful). There were also some staff issues that had to be dealt with before I could leave plus some naughty tweens cutting up in the library, so that it was an hour later than expected before I got out of the building. Instead of going to the gym as I planned I went home and walked the dogs but it began to rain! It was That kind of day. The last bit of adventure came when Home Depot called and said they were delivering the New Refrigerator today instead of next Thursday - so now I'm up early to clean out the old one. How I wish I could be here when it's delivered ... but that will happen only if they come late in the day. Whew. What a week.

Good morning! Good day yesterday but certainly wasn't a "breather" at work. I felt like I was on a full speed treadmill, probably because I feel like I have to respond to every email within an unreasonably short time to keep the ball in someone else's court and avoid critisicm that I am responsible for any delay. Huh. It helps to just admit that and see its craziness!
Off to meet fitness buddy at 4:45 to walk til HIIT class at 6:00 am for 60 min. Fun and games--just like adult recess! Ha!
