My pain is ongoing. I think I'm getting used to it. Starting tomorrow I have to give up my pain meds top repair for my cervical cortisone shot. Pray for me that I make it through this week. Yesterday I tried to make a vegetable lasagna. I altered a spark recipe I found with what I had on hand and it turned out really good. It's going to be my lunches or dinners this week. I'm giving some of it away to see if others also think its good. If so I'll be adding it to the other thread. I'm going to start my exercising again today and see how my body reacts. I'm going to start with Wii Fit. Have a great week everybody.
Ugh...I didn't sleep well last night. I thought Benadryl was supposed to have a sedative effect, but it sure didn't work for me last night. I have a couple of hot mosquito bites on my face, so I'm going heavy on the antihistamines. I spent all day yesterday with my women's choir--that's a workout for the brain as well as the voice. Last night and this afternoon my husband has concerts with one of the orchestras he plays with. Time to get ready for church.
Good morning, team! It is a beautiful day. Went to church and going to grill some veggies later for the week. Have a lot of leftovers from a tailgate we had at the Far hills Race meeting yesterday. We were outdoors all day hanging out with friends and watching beautiful horses race by on the field. It is such a great charity event for a local hospital and the girls love it too. Going to take it easy today since the coughs started and the noses are stuffy. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!
So true, DC and all - I have to give as much attention to maintaining as I did to losing and I don't get the rush of seeing the scale go down. Of course - I do get the rush of the zipper going up.
Still taking things a little easy - my long walks are more at a strolling pace. Vacation ends today and it's back to werk fer me tomorrow. Thank goodness today is a sunshiny day and all the housework is done!
Mornin Sunshines! I find maintenance harder than loosing weight. This time I'm doing it with the help of all of you! This is the best habit I've ever developed!

Today I will work out at least 20 minutes as part of the MapMyFitness app's community challenge. They are celebrating accumulating 20 million members! I haven't decided what to do yet.
Last night I pulled up the spark 60 seconds of activity article which show 10 different moves. I set my timer app and ran through them all twice while watching the Chicago Fire hockey game last night. That was quite a workout!!!
DC, you said it all. It's just as hard to maintain as loose, even harder, but I am so grateful for the daily inspiration that I find on this team.
Up early to do the stage lighting from 7-1 at church, then joining a friend or 2 or 3 or 5 or 8 at a local farm for pumpkin/apple picking and hayrides and a corn maze. Just need to stay away from the apple cider donuts. Going to come home and get some raking done and start packing for vacation. I am SO ready!
Maintaining at 3/10 pound over center weight....Yeah!
