End of the day here and did not get in any exercise. Tired from the vacation and being gone all day at volunteer job.
Deadcenter I did not take my scale on this short vacation but managed to keep the weight at the same number 155. I am going to order a travel scale.
Besshaile I remember our first date a New Year's Party and it will be our 42 one this year.

I hope you feel better soon. You can hang in there until you can exercise again. I walked the dogs four times today. I made an appointment with the dog groomers for my little dog Dusty. I need to start writing thank you cards for all the sympathy cards I am getting. I miss Mom and it is hard to write the thank you cards. I need to start looking for a job. Linda from bean town

Paula. If you think you wrote a book you should see some of my posts. My maintenance weight is 172 and I'm 171 today. This going to be short as I'm in a lot of pain today. Can't exercise till the mouth pain goes away. The good news is that I did record my nut ricin yesterday and plan to do it today. I'm drinking 9-11 glasses of water a day and trying not to eat to much off track but I'm finding it very difficult. I'm depressed and starting to fall into bad habits. I keep telling myself do what you would advise others to do. It's so hard to take your own advice sometimes. Well that's my wisdoms for the day. Happy hump day.

Quick late check in for me. Went to the pumpkin farm today with DD's class. We had so much fun. These little ones have so much energy. If I only had half of it myself . . . My little one is napping after being outside all day.
Got a short early work out in early this morning since I could not get to the gym. Chicken lettuce cups for dinner tonight. Staying on track since yesterday.

hi everyone i am new to the site but am very happy to find this site ! some times it gets so hard to be a maintainer because everyone has a apinion of what you should weight and if you should lose a fue more its awful ! anyway i have a lee way of 7 pounds down and 3 pds up in which equals 10 pds ! and i am trying to get to the bottom if it because i got very sick last year all better now but it left me with a very stubborn metabulium ! any way i think i beat the system! an finally have broken my plateue i exersize 5 to 6 days a week for 30 to 60 min daily plu weghts 2 to 3 days a week and thats how i ve been keeping it off for two yrs ! i never want to get that big again! sorry for rambbling on!

Yesterday an evening walk.
I had a down day yesterday too, but was able to get it to lift by doing an hour of yoga before dinner time. so far today I'm feeling good in spite of the border collie getting me up 3 times last night to let her out.. she had an upset stomach, but is fine this morning and sleeping soundly..
Phooscout.. I love the class called "Rusty Hinges".. that made me smile as that's how I feel every morning when I get out of bed!!

Bess, how sweet! I'm afraid I don't remember the date I met my husband. I didn't know it was going to be significant! I just remember it was after Valentine's day but before the Oscars! Weight on the uphill for the week, I know it's a regular pattern, but it can be a bit demoralizing!
Ouch Pam - I hope your pain eases soon. Sending you good wishes for a fast recovery.
I'm on vacation this week and some of the days are putter days - I puttered in the front yard and got the leaves raked up -and puttered in the kitchen and made a delicious vegetarian vegetable soup. Yum! Enough for another day too. I picked this week for a vacation because our First Date Anniversary is Oct. 16 and this is the 41st year we've celebrated it. On my Other Blog there is a story about it in case you might be interested:
Today we will go off on a ramble to celebrate that long ago first date. We are thinking of exploring Culpepper County or maybe Green County VA
Mornin all! Coming out of my funk from yesterday. Just a big fat downer day!
DH and I went to a wine and cheese tasting, then I came home determined. I put together a healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks to take to work, then I did the SP 10 minute cardio kick start video, the 10 min SP kickboxing video, then several ab exercises that I posted on my one-day challenge team.
Take that downer day!

Up and checking in quick before I head out the door to work. Got my spinal x-rays back showing two compressed disks. One near the bottom of my neck and one (less severe) in my lower back. Now to come up with a plan of action to prevent any more damage and hopefully see some improvement. "Affordable" health care - hah!

off t o the Y for water aerobics,water jogging, and to the senior center for a low impact class called rusty hindges that i teach. all in all will have 2 and 1/2 hours of a work out today. calories were in range yesterday and doing well. Just wish we would see the sun for a change, this constant rain is depressing.
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Up an at em early as usual, Bright side it today is my Friday and my weight is back to where it was before vacation 132.4.
Although not bad on vacation it was impossible to stay @ 132/133 even with daily exercise and cooking for ourselves twice a day. I did manage to stay below goal by just a little. All in all that is the good of it all. Diligence and a scale while on vacation will keep you honest and on program.

Good morning -- well, actually, middle of night. I ended a rainy, gloomy day early by going to bed at about 7:00 last night. It was just a bad day, except for my Intensity workout. That was a doosey, and I was proud of my ability to keep up with all the long-time members. This morning is Dynamic class for 60 min. I walked/jogged to the gym yesterday as my car is in the shop. DH comes later and then I can ride home with him. Guess I'll do that again today as the mechanic hasn't been able to determine why my car is overheating. :(( I was hoping it would be something simple; I'm starting to worry.
I'm going to try to go back to sleep. I'm planning on making today a better day; hope it's a good one for all my team mates!
