Good afternoon everybody, I was able to get into the dentist again today. She says everything was fine and I should be in this much pain. She did file down my temporary cap so it doesn't touch any other teeth. She says that should go away in about a day.
What bugs me the most is that I can't exercise. Every time I raise up my blood starts pumping and my jaw starts killing me through the hydrocodone, Motrin, flexeril and Morphene. I have to stay in bed and sleep because of all the meds. I have epilepsy that started when I was 18. Because I've been on narcotics ever since and my tolerance to meds is extremely high. I hate it. The good news is that I should be off all meds by next summer. I'm very excited about that.
I couldn't get online because I was so dopey so none of my tracking got done. I tracked my nutrition today Well that's enough for now. Hopefully I will be here tomorrow.
Greetings from sunny (finally) Virginia! The sky is that rare October blue, and the temperature is just right for sitting on the porch with the cat and a cuppa. I swam this morning and think I've finally found a way to do more lengths with crawl before I take a break with easier strokes. I'm not very fast anyway, but my crawl is certainly a lot faster than my breast stroke. Anyway, day 15 of the shutdown/furlough, and I'm hoping as Toni is that our elected "leaders" will get their collective, bi-partisan act together and do the right thing.
Cannot do any cardio this week - basically nothing that effects my lower half. I am trying to find exercises that I can do from the abdomen up without inflicting pain on my feet. This scares me because cardio is what helps keep my weight down. I need to be extra careful with food this week, and attempt some upper workouts (I have been neglecting this area, so I guess this is a blessing in disguise??)
Did OK on calories yesterday, but I really need to get moving. A coworker is sick today, bronchitis with asthma. I'm affected by the change in season, but I am trying to take care of myself as need my lungs for singing!
staying in calorie range and exercise has been good. Need to stay on track the first part of this week because at a special deer hunt Thurs to Sunday and have limited say in the menu. At least I'll get a little exercise walking during the hunt. Currently it is raining and little chance of exercise outside today.... bummer
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it
Logould - so glad you got those 2 sweet days. Maree, good for you for snapping back to healthy eating right away.
I forgot to put on my ActiveLink monitor yesterday so none of the movement I got in got counted. Ah well. It's the end of my "week" anyway and I'm ready to start a new one. Thinking of my life in chunks of 7 days helps keep me from straying too far from my goal, which is particularly good this week since I'm on vacation and away from my routine. We've done a lot of eating out as we scoured the city looking at refrigerators but we finally settled on my dream fridge and now I just have to cook up all the food in the old one. Especially the frozen stuff. Delivery is Halloween - what a treat!
Hi all. Hugs to Pam. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Not a great day today but this too shall pass.
I sunk into my total blah mood, pizza for dinner and then DH made popcorn. I did get a walk in on break at work, then walked the dog in between pizza and popcorn, then walked to The Party store to pick up some more Halloween decorations. It's eight minutes, there and back.
Onward with the Tuesday. I hope it's a good day for all!
Heading home from a long weekend getaway. Spent a few nights in a B$B. The breakfasts are great but high calorie. Did pick up small salads from store for picnics. Didn't t get in much exercise and I am feeling it. Also had some cake and ice cream always fun to try things on vacation. But back to exercise and eating well tomorrow. Hope your feeling better Pam. Teeth problems really are serious.

Good morning team. Lovely two days off in a row and got in lots and lots of steps. Sunday walked all over downtown (even running at times) to chases my running buddies around during the marathon. Yesterday after a light lunch with a friend, she and I went out for a HILLY four mile run. Nutrition was pretty good, but due to the lack of information, didn't get my tracking done. Back to the grind at work today and tracking, tracking, tracking. Glad I got some RNR time. This week is work from 8-5 or 7-4 straight through till the weekend and then doing staage lighting from 7-1 on Sunday. Tonight is chiro appt. Thursday is lighting practice and Friday night is a concert.......I think Sunday afternoon would be a good time for a nap, but will be needing to start packing for the trip to St. Louis by then.

All the schools, banks and government workers had a holiday yesterdày--Columbus day. Ok. Quiet day. I'm headed to gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min Intensity class. Nutrition was good yesterday but will give the scale a couple days of better eating before stepping on it since I was out if routine last week.
