Late check in. I'm so glad the work week is done! I'm up a pound and feeling miserable after my excess last night. But it was such a good meal! My sisters-in-law and I have a wonderful time talking and eating (too much) good food. It's only once a month and maybe next month I'll be a bit more prudent! I wore a new sweater dress and thought I looked good, even though it showed all my curves. I bet today (when I'm feeling bloated) I'd think it looked awful!

Thomasina--doesn't it make you feel virtuous to get all those peppers prepped and frozen?

Grandson spending the night as we have a early morning and then all day cub scout activity tomorrow which will include lots of walking, and exercise. Then its getting ready for another 4 days of deer hunting next week with the cross bow...........oh how I love being out in the woods as the leaves are turning colors. have a great one

MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Got in a 4 mile walk and two videos today. My staying mostly vegan for the past week had my weight at 153.5 down 2 pounds. I ate non-fat milk, fish and egg whites but no meat or other dairy. My calorie range was good and so was my carbs and protein. It just goes to show that mostly vegetarian really helps the numbers come down. It is just that I don't usually crave broccoli. I also like to have my weight down a few pounds from my goal weight. Still struggling with this maintenance piece. Logging in to this team is helping.

HI everyone!

I've had a pretty good week, just one small over stretch on a yoga pose which is giving me grief, but hopefully it'll settle down quickly. It's the tendon that runs from the groin to the knee. Ouch.

I've also been chopping and freezing coloured peppers as the market had them on for $10 a case.. and they are 11 pound cases, so it's a really good deal. They will triple in price over the winter and I use alot of peppers in cooking.

All else is good, weight and eating on track.

Good morning team - getting rolling this morning. Chrio appt at 9:30 and work today from 2PM till 11PM - blech!
Really struggling with eating right. Stress and sugar being the two big culprits. Missing the accountability of weighing in on the challenge and picking up a bit of a funky attitude. Got to get a grip!
Still getting in my steps though. So, get back to tracking EVERYTHING BEFORE it goes in my mouth and work on getting more consistent with the fitness again!

Day 11 of the shutdown. The low point came the day the mortgage statement arrived, and I felt forced to apply for unemployment. As someone who has worked almost without break since age 16 (I'm 57 now), I felt applying for unemployment was a huge defeat. Still, I couldn't tell my trainer I needed a break. I have a small pad, so I'll go one more week and then decide. Hamstring has settled down a bit, though still a little stiff and tender. Swam 1000 m this morning.

Happy Friday, Team! Have not checked in for a few days but I kept up with the thread. Maree, so sorry to hear about your aunt. Glad you have the family around for a celebration of her life. Have a nice one! Venise, happy moving. Almost done, right? DC, "they" say the scale will go down. LOL.
Sounds like everyone is going to have a very relaxing weekend.

My mom is coming for the weekend today! Have not seen her in over a month. So glad the she will get to have some time with the girls. We have no major plans as of yet. Hope the weather gets better so that we can go do some walking. My mom loves to walk! Making a top round roast on Sunday for dinner with an apple crisp for dessert.

Scale is way down this morning. I have been really watching my food this week and it has paid off. Going for a run on the treadmill and then ST class. Hope to continue my health streak through the weekend. Mom usually brings goodies from my favorite bakery from home, so I may have to treat myself too.

Hey all! Looking good this Friday morning. Scale was up this morning out of nowhere. Hmmm. I let it go, it will all work out!

This is the first weekend in a few weeks I have nowhere to be. It's forced, I'm on call so I make no plans during on call week. I very rarely get paged, if I do, it's usually quick so it will be a relaxing weekend, with some elliptical, SP 30 min Total Body Workout and some walking too!

LOL it IS only money and if you have it spend it on what makes your life better, Maree. That's why I pay for the PT, over and above the gym membership. NEW HOUSE HOORAYS for you Venisew1 so glad you've got rain at last. Our drought seemed to last forever. DC, I feel the same way. I feel better when I'm a few lbs under 150. Of course it's relative I'd rather be 1 lb over than 2 lbs over. Glad you're feelng better Phebess. Toni happy cozy weekend to you.

Yesterday's weight lifting class was amazing. I left there standing taller and feeling so good. Got my annual gyn visit over with too so whew that's done. Just the mamogram to go and I'm all caught up for another year. Had half a dozen pieces of clothing hemmed yesterday so now I have a new wardrobe. Yippee.

Had a good day - stomach is settling down so we walked around Suva, have over 7000 steps today. Calories at top end of range because there's an amazing French restaurant down the street from our hotel. I showed restraint and didn't go overboard, but wow, it was wonderful!

Hi and good Friday morning. I am home safely Maree thank you.

Seems although I am right at goal I either picked up a few pounds which "they" say is impossible if you burn more than you eat (ya right)??????? Or the colder weather and less humidity is impacting my digital scales. - emoticon

Either way I am staying with the program and determined as always to stay at or below goal.

I just prefer and am a much happier person when I am below goal by a few pounds.

Coffee, Workout, Breakfast, Errands, Cooking, and whatever else will fit on the plate today.

Busy as usual. It will be Christmas before you know it. -- emoticon

GOOD MORNING!! Ran for the first time in months yesterday. Getting a uhaul trailer today and planning to move the last of the big furniture from the house and storage this weekend. Our contractors were surprised I was still moving stuff in. We still have a lot of stuff in storage. Going to be happy when this will be all done & no more excuses for not running. Happy with the scale this morning. Finally dropped a couple stubborn pounds. The in laws are coming to check out the new home and help. They are treating us to a nice dinner this weekend :) Have a great holiday weekend!

Good morning!!

Wow brisket was melt in your mouth delicious! Granddaughter had the giggles when she arrived and was the life of the party. So much love in this house last night. Now for services today. All those well wishes are appreciated, my friends.

Headed to gym at 5:00 for 30 min elliptical and 60 min Intensity ST class. Also it's re-evaluation day to see my progress. Hope yesterday's eating doesn't skew results. I think I will have to sign up for classes as cant imagine going back to the "wimpy" classes I was taking. It's only money, right? Ugh

Hope DC arrives home safely and that all have a great Friday!!
