Walked and did laundry. Went to the store to get a anniversary card for hubby today we been married 36 years. And was looking for something for him but I couldn't find what I wanted. Will burn some calorie later. Lol.

Sorry about your loss MAREE. it's never easy to lose someone we love.
My day has been a mix of emotions and I've been taking it out in sugar consumption. My calories are fine but my sugar intake is off the charts. It doesn't help being on a liquid/soft foods diet due to dental work. My brain went yay ice cream!
I met with the instructor who is helping me try to become certified in bodyflow today. Meeting with her is always a double edge sword. Its great that shes helping me.she doesnt have to. Still I get verbally beat up by her. Its for my timing issues in one class that I think she's seen me take all of 3 times. It a kickboxing class. it is choreographed. I get too much into the boxing and get off on the timing. I have people come up to me all the time in that class and tell me I should teach. The main instructor who teaches that class is instructor who told me I should teach. So it cant be that bad. Uuuggg. it doesn't help that my "friend" keeps saying Rachel's timing is really bad in kick it. IT IS NOT! Once in awhile I get ahead of the beat but I do know how to get back on and its really not that often. they make it sound like its constant.
Anyway I'm fighting though their negativeity and trying to learn these tracks.

Just checking in after a busy morning. I did resist the candy dish as the hair dressers. I wish she would put them somewhere else. The calorie count and the cholesterol counts are too high for me to enjoy. I went to the grocery store and picked up something healthy for lunch. It is hard to resist the deli salad counter but I picked a sushi roll. Then I ate some leftover vegetables when I got home. No cookies which is really hard to resist in their bakery section.
Walked this morning, and I plan to do a video when I log off. Everyone have a great day

Mare, my condolences are added also. Even though she was in her 90's it is still hard to lose someone we care about. Celia, I had to laugh when you posted you did 20k.....in Canada we think in kilometres and my first thought of course was you did 20,000 kilometres which is around 16 miles!!!! I was impressed to say the least. Not sure when I will get my exercise in today as this is my golf windup and general meeting today. I probably will be gone most of the day. A day off will be ok as I am still sore from all the push-ups this week. Tomorrow is gym day for sure though. The sun is shining here for a change so that puts a smile on my face. Weighed myself this morning and the scale said 142 so I am still in my range. WHOOHOO.

MAREE so sorry for your loss! Hope you are able to find a little extra peace and rest today. Be careful KELLIEBEAN - ice both your heel and arch and do some PT. Try curling your toes and then spreading them back as wide as you can with your foot pointed, then at a 90 degree angle and then bent back toward your shin. Also, try "writing" the letters of the alphabet in the air with your toes. Lastly, stand on a stair with your heels hanging over the end and stand on your toes and then allow your heel to drop down below the edge. Those are the PT exercises that my podiatrist and chiro gave me for my Plantar Faciitis and to keep it from getting worse/ recurring and to keep the achilies healthy. No big plans for me today, got some chores to ctch up on since I work today and tomorrow and then ave a 5K on Sunday at the Arboretum. I know it will be slow, but the leaves will be BEAUTIFUL so I'm just going to take my time, not push it and enjoy that I CAN run again and revel in the beauty.

Hi My deepest condolences Maree. Today no big plans other than organizing some radon estimates and the mover as well as tidying up the house. Tonight I may sign the girls up for girl scouts. Congrats KELLIEBEAN on your new record. Hope you feel better soon!

I ran 3.1 miles in just over 29 minutes yesterday a new record. The Chicago Hot Chocolate 5K is 31 days away. My heel pain is back so I'm icing it today and hanging out with my buddy Aleve. It will be all good tomorrow.
Looking forward to a wine tasting with friends tonight.

Last night coyotes roamed the farm for the first time in almost 2 years. We could hear them howling. Normally my dogs sleep outside once they're over 15 lbs but Himself let both of them in last night. No need to tempt fate. Only Callie, the older dog, decided she was sleeping with us up in the big bed. No. I did not get a good night's sleep. LOL
Today I'm back at the gym for the first time since my birthday - strength training for me.

Toni, yay, the colonoscopy is done!
Day 3 of the shutdown. So far I'm enjoying the chance to do more for my body, but reality will set in when the first paycheck doesn't come. I want desperately to retire, but now is NOT the time until we pay down our debts, and DH still has a lot of his own school debt on top of his daughter's (she STILL hasn't graduated at 25). Anyway, I've been walking a LOT (almost 20K yesterday), running a little, and I took advantage of the pool pass we already paid for and went early yesterday.

Phebes, I sure like your do what's fun attitude! Wish I could copy your snorkeling routine, but I'm land bound in Ohio at the moment, so walking will have to do. It is beautiful weather here and walking will be a treat. There are great gardens to use, and I will do that.
Colonoscopy went well and is over. I am savoring real food again.

Calories in range, and we went snorkeling (maybe 30-45 minutes? I compromised and tracked 40) plus walking on the beach. Gorgeous. Fun is the best way to burn calories!

Start of my vacation today. Heading to Myrtle Beach for a week.
Great to weigh in at 131.2 this morning and a few days this week came up the same. So I know it is real. Gives me wiggle room for vacation.

Good morning. Sorry DC and everyone about the second thread yesterday. I always check first, then it takes me about 10 min to write and post and I don't catch that another thread has been posted in the mean time.
I woke up at 11:00, made a cup of hot tea and received FB message that my 97 yr old aunt died tonight. I lived with her as a preschooler when my mom was ill so she was very special to me. A very long life.
5mi walk with fitness buddy at 5:15 so I'm gonna try to go back to sleep. Hope it's a good one for all.
