Got up early and went with DH to a state park to hike. We went about three miles, took us about an hour. It was fairly cool weather so nice for a hike. Later I went to Hot Yoga. Ate in my calorie range today but thought that I could have done better on eating healthier foods. Otherwise, I have been busy with organizing my closet and my craft room. It was a nice day.

Was away from the house for most of the day. Did get out and walked the dog and did a 16 minute abs on the ball video. Ate out but chose vegetarian and did not eat the whole plate.

Late check in today, but needed the extrs rest this morning and then church and time to get chores done around the house. Now for a chance to do some reading, relax, put away some laundry and go through clothes to see what needs to be donated. PHEBESS, sounds like a marvelous day - I'll pretend, while I'm kicked back in bed, that I'm where you are! Congrats on the 10K, KELLIEBEAN! emoticon MRSRACHELS, looking forward to getting to know you better. Hope all of you enjoyed your weekends, despite all the yuck rainy weather. I'm hoping to get the orthotics back soon so that I can get back out and rrun again before the end of the nice running weather (and my next half - at the end of Oct.)

Way to go Rachel. Walked today and hip hop ab. I usually take the weekend off but have to get a tooth pull on Thursday so I had to start today because don't know what Friday might be like. Getting it in.

It's a stormy weekend so we're not doing much that requires leaving the house. I went over on calories yesterday due to a pub lunch with an Oktoberfest special half-liter of beer. Walking on the beach sounds heavenly, but walking on our coast today wouldn't be pleasant. Up north they're expecting near-hurricane winds later today.

Hi all!!

I'm back!
I wasn't active for a while. I decide I wasn't really happy with my maintenance level being 130-135. I felt it should be more like 125-130. so I went to off to lose that last 5lbs and it took a VERY VERY long time lol. But here I am! or was for two glorious days 125. YAY!!! I had a little bit to much of a celebratory/PMS feast last night and am up to 127 but I know I'm not supposed to be sweating that exact # just the average weight. which is 126 right now.

Anyway I'm excited and scared and have more questions but I'll post that in the questions section.

I do have a bit going on but it feels good to be busy!

I training for my first serous 5K. I've done a few just for fun and for the accomplishment but they we mostly walked and with Friends. this time I want to try to make it in under 30min hopefully well under 30.

I'm also trying to get certified as a body-flow instructor. I was really hoping for a more hard core class like body pump or bootcamp but bodyflow is a good place for me to start. I'm a bit quite and while I did drama and dance in high school this is a little different so it is going to challenge me. but out of challenge comes growth. right.
One of the instructor at my gym is helping me. shes letting my learn the release and train with her before I go in for the first assessment by a Les Mills trainer in December.
I love my gym so much it is really just full of amazing people!!

Finally when someone asks what I've been up to I have an answer other than working out and being a mom LOL

Anyway I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! and I look forward to getting to know you all!

Hey all! I could go for a massage on the beach.

I'm taking it easy today, recovering from yesterday's 10K. Maybe just walking the dog today.

It's a beautiful cool day here so DH and I are riding the motorcycles to a restaurant we keep thinking about trying, overlooks a little lake.

Yesterday went to the dogs - our dogs, that is, and a guest dog cousin, who came with human cousins. We walked all three of them out to the landing where they could swim out and get the sticks we tossed. It's a great 3 mile walk and yesterday's cloudy skies made it pleasant. We could use the rain, though, so all you wet folk in the middle of the country, please turn to the east and blow. LOL

House clean at last too. A long day ahead with no chores. How sweet!

Started my day with a massage on the beach - yeah, gotta love retirement and travelling to tropical islands where they do stuff like that for affordable prices!

Walked about 50 minutes on the beach, and calories are just below minimum number of my range. (I don't worry about 8 calories below minimum.)

Good Sunday morning!

Rain was a common theme yesterday and it came early on the river washing our cruise plan down the drain. But as always, we gathered with dock neighbors and enjoyed the afternoon anyway. This girl took a long nap and that felt good. I feel much better this am. DH and I ran yesterday and my time was a little slower but that's okay. May do sprints today but DH says he's taking a rest day because he is too sore.

We are doing good on nutrition because we don't have junk food in the houseboat and because its now our lifestyle! Yaaay!
