GOING FOR THE NEW AND FITTED ME
Had a pretty good day. Within my calorie range, got in a 45 minute run/walk. Had a little spontaneous fun today - I was going to work out at lunch time but I ended up going to lunch with three friends. I had a kale/apple/pineapple juice from a juice bar while they ate at the restaurant. Looking forward to the weekend - this was my Friday! ♥

Walked for 80 minutes and 30 minutes with the hip hop ab.

Hubby had eye surgery so I've spent a lot of time driving him to doctors and sitting in waiting rooms. But yesterday I managed to go for a walk while he waited for the doctor. Today he was well enough to go out for a short walk with me. So we're getting back into the routine. May not make my 10K steps today but will get close.

Home after a week on vacation and came at the low end of my goal for which i am thankful. Now back in the routine and that feels great. Had a great vacation and brought home a 7 wk old black lab puppy. My 10 yr old lab keeps looking at me and seems to be saying." What the heck did you bring into our calm and nice home, are you insane." Sometimes i think i was as i forgot how much work a puppy is. but it will get better
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

KELLIEBEAN, you must live near me! That happened just 1/2 mile away from one of the girl's in my running club! Do you ever do the Naperville Road Running Sports Adventure run or run with any of the local clubs? Message me - I'm contemplating doing the Pefect 10 for my birthday!

MAREE - hope you can get a little R&R today and that it will make the problems yesterday begin to fade.
Yesterday went okay - got the car back and it passed emissions - Yeahh! Feet and legs are recovering well from the Fox Valley Half-Marathon on Sunday. Nutritionally, I did okay until bedtime when the mindless snacking got the best of me. Ended up over my nutrition range but at least it was healthy food and this morning the scale showed a loss anyway - YEAH!

Had another late night and woke up this morning convinced it was Friday. I'm glad my head cleared before I woke my husband to tell him we forgot to put out the garbage. Hair appointment this afternoon, though I'm trying to grow it out, so I really don't want it cut. Throwing caution to the winds and having ramen noodles for lunch. If I have all the broth it's 3080 mg of sodium. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow!
Very thankful today I was not near the bank close to my house when the plane crashed yesterday. I had a horrendous day and was quite bummed out but that put my day in perspective. Someone is always worse off than you are!
Need to get a grip here today. Two more days until my first 10K.

Today is my Friday! After work my younger daughter and I are taking her horse to a natural horsemanship clinic. She will be working with Peter Campbell for two days and I will be auditing. Tomorrow I have to leave early to come home for a 5:30 PM wedding.
Back to the clinic on Saturday morning. After the clinic we move our horse to a new stable that is closer to our house. It should be a busy couple of days, but fun!

Morning all. Maree. Feel better soon. Happy travels Toni. Wishing everyone a good day. I'm at the library convention for two moredays. There's very little opportunity to move but I will get out once today and move around. Paying close attention to what I eat. Typing on an iPad.
Away we go to Boston. Will focus on healthy eating today. Packing healthy snacks. Take care, team mates!

At low end of range (but not as low as yesterday) - no cardio, I've already reached my weekly goal and will do more on Friday & Saturday, so today is gentle exercise and active rest day.

Morning all. Very restless night last night. I think it sets me up for a poor weigh in as I came in higher than yesterday and have no logical reason for it.
Anyway regardless of the fluctuation I feel great and am looking forward to a fun filled birthday weekend. And my weekend starts today.
So my best to all and be safe out there.

Good morning! Thanks for all the encouragement and cheering on with the Intensity ST class. Yesterday was tough too with the focus being on the one arm snatch (alone, then with a squat, then with a jump squat, then with a burpee, etc.). Today is my 5 mi walk with fitness buddy, a nice diversion from the gym, but still very brisk, heart pumping good workout for body and spirit.
After the good day at the gym, my day went downhill. Unfavorable decisions, disappointing news, and onset of the cold symptoms - cough, phlem etc. I'm awake after only 4 hrs sleep to try to deal with all that.
I'm inspired by you half-marathoners! Maybe someday for me. Our team rocks! Hope today is a rockin' good one!
