Hi All, Good day for me, stayed on track calorie-wise. Got more sleep last night, thank goodness, I felt so much better today. I didn't exercise today. I really needed a rest day. A bit of stress at work but I am sure that it will all turn out okay.

Hi All, My daughter found a bump and bruise on Mom's head and so I have been bringing her to the doctor's. She is a okay. WE where worried and do not know how she hit her head. I could not send her to the Adult Day Program today and missed a meeting with my Aunt that lives in California here for a visit. I may try again before she leaves to go home. Linda from bean town

My scale is down a bit this morning. I'm still not getting to bed at a reasonable time. Choir practice tonight and it takes some time to wind down after that. Maybe tomorrow night!

down to 157 which is my goal weight. Working on getting down to 155 to get a little room for when I travel, eat out, or have a binggy day

I'm going good, getting in a bit of extra activity in spite of the rain. Eating and exercise all on track, but I did dream last night I was eating chocolates and a cupcake with tons of icing!!! Where that came from is beyond me.. I must be craving sweets!!
Have a great day everyone... I love reading about everyone's day and accomplishments..very motivating!

Busy but fit and healthy people over here today! That is impressive - normally busy people do not take the time to stay fit, but this group is something else. Great job! Yesterday, with work/shopping/cooking I ended up not doing any exercise since it was 9PM (I did get a 30 minute walk during my lunch though). So, I am considering that my rest day for the week and onwards I go!

WTG, Maree! I use just the 45-pound bar with no added weights for my dead lift, but that's really to protect my back.
Logould, what an honor to be asked repeatedly to take a promotion! I understand your reluctance, though. I've been in leadership positions before (military), and your life definitely changes. Now I'm content as a worker bee. In my current (civilian) job, the management structure is so cut-throat you couldn't pay me enough to take a management position.
I've done well (almost) foodwise the last two days. Yesterday, after I ran my Spark report, I got into the yogurt-covered blueberries, though my calorie count was low enough that I didn't go over my max. Still, I didn't have a deficit, and right now I'm running on the "hot" side of my goal weight. I like to have it a little lower. Fitness has been good...on track to be another good Fitbit week if I keep it up, with 31,000+ steps Sunday, 13,000+ steps Monday, and 15,000+ steps yesterday. The surprise to me is that yesterday I signed up for not one, but TWO, half-marathons. And I'm not a consistent runner by any means. Since the entry fees are not refundable or transferable, guess I'll have to get with the program. Intending to use Jeff Galloway's run/walk method.

Good morning! Wow! I am tired just reading all the check-ins. You are all busy and making time to exercise. I am off to the gym for cardio today. 2 mile run and 30 minutes of step class. Have to take my youngest to gymnastics class afterward, so it is a short work out day today. Going to try to get a daily burn video in today in the afternoon.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning team! Wow - Maree 95 LBS! I don't think that's weak and I'm sure that you'll be improving from there, so I'd say you are tackeling another major fitness goal! PHEBESS, Fiji sounds amazing - sounds like such fun! DEADCENTER and TORTISE110 good work on staying on track and congrats on your scale victories. I hope things are better for you at work SWEETYOUNGTHING....I'm still catching up at my job after being down a person (or two) for the last couple months. Got called in to the managers office (again) yesterday for them to ask me to take a management position. Getting better about not jumping at the opportunity, though the extra money would be nice, it just isn't worth giving up everything else in my life that matters - and unfortunately, in retail, that's generally what management entails. Scale is still holding steady and trying to eat clean to get down below midrange. Did well nutritionally yesterday and hoping with another clean eating day or two, I'll start to see the swing in the right direction. Have a wonderful Wednesday everybody!

2 weeks off from work resulted in 2 days of insanity trying to catch up with 200+ emails, phone calls, etc. Now it's Wednesday and I'm hoping for a bit more relaxing work days this week.
I hope you all have a great day. Pat

Good morning! Up in the dark here...fall is really here...and looking forward to the day. Had a couple of "saintly" eating and workout days and it is showing on the scale. Funny how that works.
Heading north on Thursday to Boston for a conference. Packing ahead. Will be driving so have to figure out how to remember stretch breaks and walking around. Oh and packing some healthy snacks.
Time to get rolling on Wednesday. Spark on, mates!

Good Friday morning everyone..................... Oh that's rights it's only Wednesday for most....................................
But for me it's my FRIDAY!!!!!!! ---- Another week closer to vacation... I can not wait.
Came in at 131.4 this morning. That's about it for me folks. I don't drop lower than that without a little panic. So, I have proven it can be done with hard work, proper diet, and dedication.
I do hope today goes as fast as the rest of the week so I can get out of work and get on with my birthday celebration weekend.
Can you tell I'm psyched?
My best to all.

We arrived in Fiji at almost 2 AM this morning, so I got up pretty late. But have managed to avoid a nap, so I'm normal Fiji time.
Calories at my extreme minimum end of range (1290) and I got in about 50 minutes of walking. Plus we watched a traditional dancing and fire dancing show, and, well, I tend to stand in a corner and dance along, LOL - so lots of moving today!

Good morning! Yaaay, I slept good. That's helpful for the challenging day I have ahead of me.
I'm headed to the gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min Intensity class. Yesterday's class focused on barbell dead lifts. In previous classes the heaviest weights available were 2 15 lb dumbbells; he had me lifting 95 lbs so I see I have weak hamstrings. Other women in the class were lifting a lot heavier weight so I see where I can improve.
Ok, off to start the day! Hope it's a good one!
