Hi Everyone, good day here. I am a little low on calories today but will eat a snack later. Fitness was a walk at lunch time and a step aerobics class. I am tired too so I didn't plan much for this evening. I will go to bed earlier tonight!

Hi all, thought I had checked in this morning before my dr's appointment but guess not.......this was a no exercise day but a full day of errands. I will have to make up for it tomorrow. It is definitely fall and the thoughts of cozy comfort food is definitely here. Hope you are all having a good evening.

Like Deadcenter, checking in from Virginia. It WAS nippy this morning, and I was glad I took a warmer jacket. Lately, I've gotten out of the car at the commuter lot to stand at the bus stop, only to find out that my thin workout jacket just wasn't enough. Beautiful fall day now!
Managed to gain only 1 pound while I was away over the weekend. It really took a lot of concentrated effort. Being away from home makes the food choices difficult and I don't sleep as well which doesn't help. Back to walking today and now off for a list of errands.

Hi Team! I pushed the reset button yesterday and I had a good nutrition day Did almost 15,000 steps too. Today, I am on track for another good day with a balanced breakfast, a healthy lunch, and chicken chili with salad for dinner. I started planning my dinners for the week for my family. I am really going to try to stay organized thanks to the spark of my friend Amanda! I also signed up for a one month trial of the dailyburn.com. These are workout videos customized to what your goals are. I will let you know how that goes for me.
Toni, I totally know how you feel when you do not eat a balanced breakfast. If I do that and then go to the gym for my step class, I make more mistakes because my brain does not work well. It is amazing to me how important breakfast is for me.
I'm currently the poster child for "food is no substitute for sleep". I was up too late last night and got really hungry, so had a cheese stick before bed. Weight stable, but not going down as I'd like it to. I hope I can get enough sleep tonight so I can think straight.
Boy do I agree that fatigue is a killer for staying on track. Makes it harder to do EVERYTHING. I also find that the occasional time I have an unbalanced breakfast, I am a mess all day. Last weekend I made scones (once a year, once a year...), ate 2 and felt crummy all day. Could not feel full or satisfied. It was so odd. The calories weren't so "over the top," but the sugar and lack of protein sent me whirling.
Having a good day today though and looking forward to some good exercise and a simple supper.
Hope everyone finds some joy in their day! Toni

I'm doing really well and have regained a bit of weight from the spell where my stomach was really bothering me. I must be healing as I'm feeling stronger once again.
I had a busy day yesterday and even visited with a neighbour friend for an hour and then came home and got on my stationary bike for 50 minutes.. it would have been so easy to slough it off, but that fitness tracker really keeps me "on track"!! Of course, I was happy afterwards that I got my exercise in for the day.
We have had a really rainy Sept. so I'm hoping October brings us some wonderful fall weather..
I am SO grateful for this team. Maree, you really hit the nail on the head yesterday. Mindless eating Is NOT a cure for being overtired. That is my issue most often. Even when I am stressed, I have learned to turn my attention to pumpkin seeds or a nice crunchy apple, but fill my day too full and or too long and anything sweet or gooey or soft or high fat that is not glued down is in trouble. I let tracking get away from me yesterday (late afternoon into evening) and saw another blip up on the scale. Still within goal range, but it MUST stop and TODAY! Still a bit sore from the Half-Marathon this weekend, but not as bad as it could be. Got to get out the door though and get the car to the shop. I'll have an hour or two to wait for my sis to pick me up and get me to work (till nine tonight), so what better chance to get in some extra steps at least. RESET!

Good good morning everyone. alas, Maree - I always think of the period between Labor Day and Christmas as the minefield of food - with shorter days, cozier nights, 4 birthdays in my family, an anniversary and then the food holidays. Yikes!
Still and all - that is life and this is a lifetime deal. if life includes temptation it also offers coping tools - like this great team here. I'm going to take the rest of September to map out my strategy for reaching the New Year at Goal. No gym this week - it's too pretty to be indoors that much. We took the most beautiful walk ever last night and that's what I'll do today as well. Then 3 days of convention food - hmmm. Better start that planning tonight!
Cheers to one and all.

Good morning! Sounds like the general resolve is to hit the "resume" button on normal routines and stay on track. Travel, celebrations, emotional events can sure take a toll on these bodies and their need for sleep, as we respond to stress, good or bad.
I'm headed to the gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min Intensity class. Nutrition was good yesterday and I have leftovers for lunch.
