I actually got some sleep last night. What a difference. I feel so much better now. I discovered that the reason I'm eating so much crap is that I'm tired of what I eating. I'm a creature of habit and tend to eat the same thing every day. Well it's been one day to many. I made a delicious meatloaf with carrots, potatoes and onions. There's plenty left over for later and my DH loved it. I also made some stuffed zucchini for my lunches this week and I drank 9 glasses of water. I think I'm back to my happy, adorable self.
I want to thank everyone who helped me out these last few days. It's nice to know you have so many friends.

Had a lovely Monday...unlike most people, I love Mondays. I got a lot done at work and home today. I ate pretty well - in my range for calories, carbs and protein, a tiny bit low on fats, and a bit high on sodium, but overall, not too bad. I went to my Power Sculpt class today and then did a 40 minute run/walk this evening. I still have a ton of stuff to get done around the house but it will have to wait!

Had a very busy weekend ... Went out for karaoke Friday night with friends had a couple cocktails Saturday night was class reunion with a good dinner then Sunday a family reunion and back for Sunday night bowling league .....needless to say I was up 4# this morning time to get back on track

Hi all, well it is glorious to be back home and back to normal. I don't have a problem eating hotel food it is the food on the road. Usually I take the food but it could not happen this time. Anyway, time to get over it and get ba k to normal. Great gym workout this a.m. And now busy washing endlessly!!!! Hard a good day all!

Busy, busy, busy . . .that seems to be the theme from the weekend! And so much exercise by everyone. I love reading this board on Monday morning!
I enjoyed a nice weekend with DH and the girls. Went to my daughter's first soccer practice on Saturday morning. It was so cute, but she is very competitive. I never saw her so aggressive trying to kick the ball and she scored a goal. Of course, I am the proud mama. I chuckled because I can see she takes after me with her competitiveness. LOL:). Saturday night we went to a neighbor's house to watch a movie outside. It was the perfect night.
Yesterday was a beautiful day too. Grilled veggies with fresh mozzarella cheese for dinner with balsamic vinegar. And we watched football. Does not get better than that. Happy Monday! Kim

Stuck in the airport for 6 hours. Had brought a healthy snack, got a salad with no dressing. Walked around the airport for 30 minutes. Trying to make healthy choices

Not a good food weekend. Couldn't sleep last night and what sleep I got was disrupted. I wonder how much healthier we'd be if we could follow the rhythms of our bodies instead of being slaves to the clock?

Very busy for me this weekend, trying to cram long walks of checking trails for various walking clubs' routes (~10K Saturday, 17K Sunday). Good Fitbit results. In the meantime, there were all the usual weekend things that needed doing, and somehow we got them all done. I even finished ALL the laundry this weekend, unlike last weekend when I had two loads left over. Dragging today.

Hi all. Still catching up on everyone's posts. Long emotional day yesterday, moving slow this morning.
I was up at out early yesterday to volunteer and walk with my daughter at the 2013 Chicago NEDA walk (National Eating Disorders Assoc.). She was picked to coordinate it this year. That is a huge amount of work. I was just beaming with pride. She has come a long way in her recovery.
Then I went to her dad's grandmother's wake. She was a wonderful woman, 97 years young. It was very nice seeing all of my ex's family.
I'm going In to work a little late. My daughter stayed with me last night so I'll leave after her dad picks her up for the funeral.

Good Monday morning, team mates, Slept late and off to a quick start. Went kayaking yesterday. Beautiful day. Savoring fall days.
Work today with a mind toward travel on Thursday to Boston for a conference-- hi Linda-- where I will see my college son, and my family with the new little grandson.

I hate to see the Birthday Weekend come to an end. sigh. It has been perfect - we even got rain, which we sorely needed. This week is conference week and I have to leave the NBP (New Baby Puppy) for 3 days. whaaaa. And eat conference food. and come back afterwards to an official October 1st weigh in. My challenge will be to be At Goal in spite of hotel food. I think I can rise to it.
But since I'm going to be gone so much this week I'm skipping the gym for after work walks in the autumn evening with NBP and Callie the little white dog and Himself.

Morning team - quick check in before work from 7:30-4:30 and have a couple quick chores to do before work since I'll be meeting a friend for coffee after work and then to church for my women's community group. Survived the half-marathon yesterday, VERY slow, but I expected that since I couldn't train like I would have. Made the mistake of not wearing the orthotics too - BIG mistake. Swollen and sore today, but ready to get back to training IN ORTHOTICS in a couple of days and in the meantime happy to be back on a normal eating routine. Taking the car back in tomorrow early to the shop. Failed emissions this time - this is the third visit to the mechanic in three months - going to drive me into the poor house!

What a weekend! Friday DH and I had dinner at Texas Roadhouse where I enjoyed the warm rolls with cinnamon butter (one forgets how yummy!) and salmon (too salty). We concluded we like our own cooking much better. We then watched "Rent" at Muni and got home around 11:30 (really late for me). Then Saturday DH needed a fishing partner for his catfish tournament from 3:00 to 11:00 p.m. so another late night (and cold). So yesterday I tried pushing through with my "to do" list, I took a short nap, but had company stop by, so kept at it. Lesson: Being overtired cannot be cured with mindless snacking; succumb to sleep. I crawled in bed at 7:00 and slept 7 hrs. straight. Problem is being up at 2 am. I'm hoping to get straightened out soon. I'll get on the scale tomorrow, I feel over-full.
This morning I'm headed to the gym for 30 min cardio (run) and 60 min ST. Clean eating on the agenda.
