I have FINALLY set my ticker on my Spark page for maintenance! I'm not trying to lose, I am trying to learn how to maintain!

I'm doing good. I pretty much don't have a problem staying at or below my maintenance goal weight (thank God). The one thing I know though is that I "really" have to stay on top of it all - contineously. Most important, I have to keep my mind set in the right place. Overall, I'm good... staying positive and staying thankful. I'm pressing forward.
Down to 156.5. I had made 157 a goal weight because it brought my BMI into the healthy range. But I am going to bring the weight down to 155 because I find that if I eat out or drink wine or even have a low fat dessert the number pops up a pound or two. Trying to figure out how to make it through the food orgy months of October, November and December. Logging food and exercise very closely. Got in a 4.5 mile walk today

After gaining about four pounds during two trips of about four weeks combined, I am making progress towards my more comfortable self. Two pounds gone, two to go to get back to the bottom of my safe range. However, after seeing pictures of myself, I think I'd like to lose another 8 pounds or so. Not stressing about it though. My bmi is mid range of healthy, but my small frame probably needs to be at the low end. Wonder if my body will go for yet another set point? We'll see.

Good morning all, had a good day yesterday and today will be full too. Not sure what exercise I will do today but will get my time in. We are going to a river cruise seminar this afternoon and we are both looking forward to that. Sure seems to be a very popular vacation nowadays. Ah sleep.......some nights not so good but most nights it is 7-8 hours for me. But you know those menopause years a Re not good sleep years. I remember so many nights waking up and watching the clock and worrying about getting up for work!!! Have a good day all!!!!

Wow, Toni, seven hours is something I aspire to but never get during the week. Really looking forward to the enhanced telework experiment that starts next month so I can get more nights of at least seven hours (if the cat doesn't wake us up at 3 am to barf).
Funny thing yesterday. I rarely think about my shelter-in-place stash at work, but when I made my to-do list at 6:15 yesterday morning, I put "inventory shelter-in-place supplies" on. About two hours later the Navy Yard shooting happened 10 miles south of where I work, and a whole lot of people sheltered in place. Scary. Anyway, my personal supplies include a change of clothes, extra undies, a blanket, and a pillow, along with food and water that I rotate through for lunches. I'm going to get extra food and water today. Yesterday's events made me realize how quickly things can change.
Busy day here too. I'm leaving work early for a doctor's appointment and my husband is taking his mom to hers. I wish I could lend him some calm in dealing with her. She could always push her son's buttons and her memory loss isn't helping. It's not just my husband, his three brothers are all struggling to cope. Onward!

WOW! Seven hours sounds great to me. I usually wake after 4 hours. Sometimes fall back to sleep - often I don't. I always lay there for an hour or so and then get up to read - no matter what the time. I don't' remember the last time I actually got 7 hours of sleep. Sounds heavenly.

Good morning, team! Could not sleep. I seem to pop up after 7 hours and I got to bed early...after a full day. Looking forward to yoga class today. I need that time to "give up all effort" and pull myself back into the present. Looking forward to it!
