Got in a 4 mile walk, did well on the food choices and the weight is at 157.5. I am trying to get used to fewer calories to keep the weight off.

I haven't signed in here for awhile. It's been a hectic couple of days. This whole next week promises to be hectic. Mom has dr. Appts every day this week. They are all in the middle of the day so it makes it hard to get other stuff done. Oh well I'll manage some how I'm sure. I haven't gotten any exercise in the last couple of days either. Today I've put in 1 1/2 hours. emoticon hope to get a little more before the night is over. We'll see.

Hope to see you all tomorrow.

I don't think everyone weighs in daily, some don't weigh but once a month or whenever the spirit moves them--I suppose they judge by the fit of their clothes or another method. For some, weighing in everyday drives them crazy when the scales fluctuate.

For me . . . right now, daily weigh-ins just work for me. I am still nervous about the maintenance and want to stay aware everyday. I don't get hung up on it, but it helps me to gauge things. I may drop the weigh-in's to once a week or once a month someday, but for now--it keeps me accountable.

It's a preference!

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Good morning all......I am just back from the gym and had a good circuit workout. It is a showery day today so not sure if I will get a walk in too. And it is my birthday today so not sure if we are going out for dinner. DH does not cook so that is what he usually plans. Either way we will celebrate!!!! Have to enjoy each one now that is for sure!!!
Have a good day all...

Question......do you weigh yourself each day? I am asking as from your comments it sounds like it. I weigh once a week......

Good afternoon, Team! Love reading the daily on Monday morning. i enjoy seeing what everyone else is up to. I accomplished a lot of organizing this weekend and now I am tired. New week of school begins today and it seems to be smoother for everyone now that I am organized for the routine. Did some cooking for the week last night so dinner is ready for this evening after I get the girls from gymnastics class. It will be the only night this week that DH and I are home for dinner with the girls. We have meetings booked for the this week.

Got in a 2 mile run and my 1 hour step 'n sculpt class this morning. I feel good. New salmon recipe for dinner tonight from SP cookbook. Hope it's good. Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning everyone!

I'm feeling lazy this morning and the weather is contributing to that.. it's dark and looking like more rain is on it's way and I just feel like crawling back into bed.. Thank goodness the dogs want to go out for their morning walk!!

today is yoga day and yesterday I did manage a good stationary bike session.. weight is still under goal but I'm happy with it.

Aww...thanks for the song! I love The Mamas and Papas, so I'll have it stuck in my head all day. The weather was awful yesterday. I overate, over fatted and over sodiumed. I did some cooking ahead this weekend, so I feel good about that. Four packages of taco meat in the freezer, 3 meals worth of meatloaf and a 4-6 servings of moussaka in the fridge and a huge pot of black beans in the slow cooker. Time for work!

Hi everyone and good morning! emoticon
Catching up--- after a short lapse in visiting my team. I'm still here, just not checking in everyday. Hope you all are doing well maintaining!

Still maintaining here and still counting calories but not always online (seems I have my core foods memorized--hmmmm-so I jot them down and calculate in my notebook if I don't have time to log in.)

Made an apple crisp for my hubby last night and made a sugar free version for me. BUT, for some silly stupid reason I thought I had to have a helping of the sugary version first emoticon

--now WHY do I do that??? lol emoticon

Both are good! emoticon

Haven't I broke myself of that mentality yet? ha! Do I think I am missing something or am I just giving in to a sugar fix? Aren't I a healthy food, clean eating guru these days????

Weight yesterday was 122.1 (I haven't got today's weigh-in yet.)

I am ON target! emoticon

Have a great day and a great week everyone!!!!

Hello my maintaining friends! I was away this weekend, visiting my son in S.C. He's a tremendous walker - and we took lots if long ones - a 10 miler and then a 6 miler, plus some 20 block around the town jaunts. This was a good thing since he'd bought an enormous birthday cake for an early celebration and we ate it all. Well. The guys did. I had 2 pieces over 3 days.

Back home last night I'm still at goal even after trip eating - but the rest of this week is going to be strictly high nutrition dining - since the real birthday is Saturday and I know there will be More Partying then.

It's good to be back. East or West - Home is Best

Mornin all!!! Way to go DEADCENTER! A great way to start the week.

I was lazy all day and WAY overate at dinner . I had to pull myself off the couch and got some activity in last night.

I did not get on the scale this morning. I knew what it will tell me and I'm already on it. Healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks are packed. I will try to get in a walking break or two today as long as the pager stays quiet (I'm on call this week). Then I plan to get a run in after work. If I get paged, I'll burn a ton of calories running home quickly!

emoticon

Okay, onward with the Monday!

Really busy weekend here, too, and with awesome weather! Our walking club has its annual festival next month, a non-charity, family-oriented event called the U.S. FreedomWalk in Arlington, VA ( www.usfreedomwalk.org ) We are in the process of checking trail directions, so DH and I walked 6 miles Saturday and 15 miles Sunday. I ended yesterday with almost 38,000 steps, since I still had chores to do when I got home. Then...I forgot my Fitbit this morning. Made it easy to declare a day of rest, since I have a mixed-levels yoga class this evening. Fortunately, it's the last yoga class of the session, and we always focus on restorative poses the last class. Ahhhhhh....

Good morning team - was WAY too busy this weekend (will I EVER learn?!?). I can feel the toll that it is taking on me physically and how it leads me to overindulge when I just get to busy or tired. I have work today 7-4 and then pick up my sis to get her to the store and to pick up her meds. Still, should be able to make it to bed by 8PM tonight. I need that more than anything right now - have a wonderful day friends.

Monday, Monday indeed, Maree. I always feel surprised when I get as much done as I often do on this day. Cuz at the beginning it is an uphill climb. I guess that speaks to it being hard to say good bye to a relaxing weekend.

But good morning, team. Glad to be here and ready to get going in a bit. Steps off the charts yesterday and made a healthy dinner on the grill. Planted some mums in my front porch containers and bought herbs and a few veggies for my garden.

Let's make it a balanced, happy week! Autumn is coming our way. emoticon

Good morning! Monday, Monday...can't trust that day... A little song there for Oneweigh. Lol. I loved my stint in the church choir, nothing like the harmony lots of voices can produce!

I'm headed to the gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min Dynamic training (ST plus). Nutrition is pure protein day. DH is home after a 4 day fishing trip. Yaaay!

I hope everyone has a great Monday Monday!!
