Hello everyone, Today was a gym day for me. I do a ball class that is strength and endurance. We have 15 planks in the 75 minutes and my shoulders and arms are usually pretty tired when I am done. Love the feeling! this afternoon was a kitchen day. Made borscht and a date cake. I will eat the first but not the second. Smells good though. i love to make the borscht a this time of year as the beets and rest of veggies are so good. So all in all a good day. Glad to see the good medical results but this is what this is all about isn't it? Have a good Sunday and the football will be on in our home too. DH is a Seahawks fan and he will have his Lynch shirt on!!!!!

Good Sunday morning! As I'd predicted, my scale has dropped a bit this morning. Yesterday was a chore day. I'm trying to do some cooking ahead when I have the time and inclination, so that when I'm at the end of the long workday I have quick meals at hand that aren't processed. It's the first Sunday back for the choir so I'm looking forward to that. Singing with other people is one of my favorite things. The evening is going to be football...hoping I can get more things done between church and kick-off!

Congrats on the blood work Thomasina. Hopefully I will receive good results as well. I warned the nurse yesterday that I'm a baby about needles and not to worry when I turn my head and puff my cheeks. She talked to me through it and it wasn't so bad. I'm a big girl!
I did a couple really good spark people videos last night for legs. OOF! I'm going to be feeling that later.
I need a rest day today but hope to at least do some walking. We're supposed to get rain today so we'll see. Maybe a light elliptical workout.
Morning team! Up early and so tired this morning. Have to light two services this morning and a worship concert tonight at 6PM followed by a meeting at work from 8-10 tonight. Really hoping to get in a short nap this afternoon. I can tell that I'm pushing the schedule too hard because yesterday afternoon the uncontrollable cravings started...especially for sugar. Sad to say that I gave in and I can see the results on the scale all too well. Just going to try to track faithfully today and get a little more rest. Have a Blessed Sunday everyone!

Glorious weekend, sunny, and the first real nip of fall in the air. I celebrated my one year maintenance anniversary (ordered a new dress!) and today move to work on year two. Walking shoes on, Spark trackers still in place. Onward!

We visited the Ralton Purina Farm yesterday morning, very nice people, granddaughter had fun petting the 8 wk old piggies, chickens, horses, cows, and the highlight was dog show, dogs showing their agility skills--they are employee pets who go to work with them every day and perform their exercise for public, many are rescues.
DD has a cold, no voice so not sure if she will feel up to running today. I may take the babe in the stroller anyway. She slept 3 hrs yesterday afternoon and has a runny nose and cough too. I think I'll grab some Airborne to boost immunity. Then 2 hr drive home.
