As long as I am at home, I do well with the calories and exercise. I find that the amount of food I should eat is less than I want to have. Also, I am trying to lose a little more belly fat so I am watching the amount of fat I eat and keeping it at the lower end. I agree with Donna maintenance learning is just as hard as losing learning. Hi everyone, I have been a quiet member of this team for quite awhile. It seems I am on a few teams and it is quite time consuming but I have to make choices now as I am in maintenance mode I thought I should pay attention to the people who can help me stay this way. I reached my goal this spring and I have to admit maintenance is just as hard as losing. The one thing I am having problems with is eating the calories that SP says I am suppose to eat. Unless I eat things I don't want I have a very hard time eating that much. I guess this is part of the learning curve. I got good blood test results yesterday, my white count is up to 2.9..still low, but that's pretty normal for me..I doubt the Dr. will worry about that number. My gastric attacks have lessened also and my weight is stable, so I'm happy!

Good Morning! I was awakened by "The Ride of the Valkeries" on solo tuba...my husband was looking at a video and didn't think to plug in the earphones before he started. He plays the tuba, so it wasn't as startling as it might have been. I was having a bad dream anyway. Last night we went out to a restaurant I've been wanting to try for ages and in spite of having a cocktail, desert and the entrée I wanted, came in OK on my calorie budget! I may have underestimates some, but the desert was mostly air (zabaglione) and the portions were rational. My scale isn't budging, but the average is lower and I expect to see a drop soon.

DH and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary last night. We went out to a steakhouse that we had not been to since before we were married. I saved calories all day, but it was still not enough. But that is OK because I enjoyed myself and my meal. 1,500 calories for dinner. I had a little bit of everything - Champagne, crab meat, shrimp, salad, filet minion, mashed potatoes, onion strings, wine, and cake with a cappuccino. I am still full this morning and I do not plan on eating much today. I do not know how I used to eat all of this and finish my meals. It is amazing how much my habits have changed.
Good morning! DD and I took DGG to a little neighborhood carnival last night and I got to bed at 10 so was glad to sleep in till 7. Oh man am I feeling the dynamic ST class. I definitely have not been challenging myself enough in the other ST class.
Today's exercise will likely be chasing a 2 yr old--zoo or Grants farm I think. Will run with DD at some point this weekend. Thanks for all the encouragement with skinny jeans. I loved wearing them all day. And at the carnival some 20-something soldier was shocked to find out I was the grandma! :))))

Good morning team - far be it from me to say that I ever slow down (much). Working 2-11 tonight, but up and at 'em early this morning to meet up with some friends and we are doing a benefit walk for the homeless shelter that we work with. Then, still have time to get home and prep meals for today and tomorrow and get some laundry done before work. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
