Hi All, I had a couple of contractor's look at the front stairs for estimates of a ramp but I did not get any yet. I am still waiting for an estimate. I need to make sure I can pay for the ramp. I really want to go out dinner tonight, but we probably won't. Much better for my numbers, but not so good for morale! My weight has been fairly stable this week, so my average is lower, but I'm getting impatient to see a new lower number. Our house painter thought he'd actually be able to start putting color on the house today, so I hope my workday goes quickly, so I can see it. I picked the colors, so I hope I like them!

The weather is fantastic. No AC needed the "Weather is best by government test". That is what it says on our city's welcome sign. Now I don't know what area we are best from but it's always mild here. Rarely too hot or too cold. I love it.
Today is cheat day and I'm going out to dinner tonight. I look forward to this all week long. This time slot is always kept clear for Mom and I to just have fun and relax. My de-stressing day.

After a very lackluster week (or two or three) in terms of fitness, I'm happy to report this week has been good with a yoga class Monday, ST yesterday, and walking everyday. My weekly Fitbit report will make me smile instead of cringe.

Windows open here and the breezes feel good. It's a good thing, as our ac is out. We really don't need it today. How fortunate is that?
Going out to get some winter veggies and herbs to plant. Now that my garden beds are clean, gotta put something healthy in them!

Woo woo! Skinny Jeans! Congratulations Maree. And Happy Friday 13th to everyone. I'm feeling really proud too - because even though I was sleep deprived and was rapidly talking myself out of going to the gym after work - I did go.That was a real "Just Do It" moment for me. Scaled back the resistance level on the elliptical but did 30 minutes on that baby.
I'll be in the car all day today and I have lots of goodies packed. Bean Cake sandwiches, grapes and bananas, almonds, baby carrots. There will be lavish eating this weekend, but not any junk food on this trip. Now all I need is a good knitting project to while away the time.

I'm excited to be going to DD's house after work--over the River and past the woods, to granddaughter's house I go! My 2 yr old DGD has a trampoline and is quite the jumper--this is the first time I get to see her jump on it.
I weighed in at 147.1 today--1.2 lbs down and solidly out of the 150s. This is where I need to be in order for my pantsuits to fit well through hips and thighs. And the skinny jeans fit--the ones that are not made from stretch material. So lots of pride being felt this morning.
Last night's Dynamic class was quite challenging; trainer pays close attention to form. I have a 30 day free trial. I find it interesting that I have enough energy to do the class when some days I am entirely drained when I get off work. I'm headed to gym at 5 am to do 30 min elliptical, 60 min RIPPED class. I'm an early riser because I go to bed most nights by 8:30, plus it seems the older I get, the more nocturnal I become. lol
