Since so many have asked if I have a date for surgery yet I realize we just can't read everyone blogs and statuses. I commented on both of them.
So I am sending this to all of the teams I belong to.
They told me this week I have October the 18th for surgery. I said Oh, that is close to my birthday and that is a nice birthday present. She said oh, I'll try to get you in before.
I said since I was supposed to have the surgery in August it would be almost two months later in October and also told her I was hobbling.
I am hoping I get in earlier. I am trying to get everything paid and caught up till the end of the year and friends will help me with different things.
A friend from one of the teams speaks of the happy dance, so I am doing a happy dance.

Had a better day today staying on track with food and exercise. Got in a long walk.

We are having a couple of hot days here also, so I took advantage and washed all my jackets, gloves, scarfs, hats etc and line dried them all yesterday. I'm all ready for winter.. brrrr, I hate the thought of the cold weather returning.

I'm off to town this morning for a follow up blood test to see if my white count has come back up.. I sure hope so!

Later on today I hope to ride my stationary bike..

Super day yesterday both exercise and eating well so thats a plus. Today I'm canning 14pints of venison which is so good for you with lots of protein and very little fat. Then later in the day i'll have the grandson so we'll go for a bike ride so he can get a little exercise and burn off some energy too.

MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Well, only one of my coworkers has called in so far, so maybe it will be a better day. It was hot yesterday, do sleep was an issue. I was over on fat and sodium yesterday and didn't drink enough water. Choir practice started last night and it was good to sing with friends again. Onward!

Hi All, I walked the dogs this morning before the heat of 80 to 90 expected for today. I will be taking Mom to the doctor's and hope to treat myself to a pedicure. Hi all,

It just amazes me how early some of you get up. The only reason I can post early is because I wake up long enough to post a couple of things and its back to sleep for me. emoticon

I had a great day yesterday and I plan to have a great today. Since I didn't have anything on my schedule (rare opportunity) I took advantage of the extra time to work out some extra time. Lately I'm lucky if I can in an hour during the day. Yesterday I got in over 3 hours !! It felt great and since I stretched so well I'm not sore. I pushed so hard at strength training that I knew I was going to be sore. Luckily such is not the case.

I'm taking Mom to another outpatient surgery today. She has a flap in the back of her eye and needs laser surgery to remove it. It's amazing what they can do these days. Please say a quick prayer that everything goes as planned. It's minor and everything should go well but you never know. emoticon

Hey all! Happy Anniversary Kimberly!! I hope to follow in your footsteps in a couple months.

Yesterday was a rest day after the workouts I got done on Tuesday. Not sure I'll get in anything tonight since DH is home and we have some stuff to do. I'll get some walks in for sure then I hope to get a run in tomorrow. This heat is finally breaking so tomorrow will be perfect running weather.

Onward with the Thursday!

Good morning, everyone! Today is my 5 month maintenance anniversary. I stayed in my range yesterday and do well over 10,000 steps with a significant cardio workout. Going to my advanced step class today and looking to make an SP cookbook recipe for dinner.

On the school front, yesterday my daughter did not cry before going to school so I was so happy about that and I think that helped me through the day, especially given the 9/11 anniversary. Lost my best friend that day! Her spirit is still with me everyday.

Looking forward to another 5 months of maintenance.! Have a great day everyone!

Up and racing to get out the door. Was faithful to myself yesterday - stayed on track, stayed busy after dinner and didn't get caught up in the mindless late eve snacking. did have a light snack with tea as I went to bed and listened to a radio program. Might even have been able to skip that, it I really wanted to stay up to hear the program. Rewarded with a little drop on the scale and back under mid range today.

Headed out the door to work. Made extra at dinner last night, so that is what we will have tonight and then lighting practice for Sundays regular services tonight.

Busy day, but looking forward to an extra day off next week to prep for the the first 1/2 marathon of the season on the 22nd.

I've been eating really healthily this week - which always helps my mood. that's a good thing since I work with the public and ThePublic has been rotten all week. Stressed and aggressive people have been all over my front desk staff, who've needed lots of TLC. My theory is that people were both sad about the 9/11 anniversary and frightened about the Syria issue. The bad news ... other than the bad library patrons - is that I won't be able to get in a session with my personal trainer till October. The good news is that I will be doing some great traveling the rest of the month and can still get plenty of exercise in - just not that oh-so-rewarding personal attention.

Let us hope the stars realign to a more peaceful influence soon. wishing every one of my maintainer friends a stress-less loving day.

Venesew -- Although I am currently in Virginia I was born and raised in Massachusetts. Before moving here I lived in North Andover.

Came in at 132 this morning and really want to hold it there through the weekend. That is the challenge.....

Today is the start of my three days off per week so I'm happy about that. Weight is great and the Lord woke me this morning blessing me with another day.

Knees and legs are sore from moving. Was so tired feel asleep at 6 and awoke to drool on my pillow at 8 last night then couldn't fall back asleep :( Lost our power here shortly at 4:30AM Glad it is back on now :) Have movers coming to move some big awkward furniture today, thankfully. Picked up some groceries. Need to remember to get the envelopes at our previous home today. Praying our previous lovely home gets sold soon!!

Good morning!

I see a lot of awareness in yesterday's posts about eating for reasons other than fueling hunger. Certainly that awareness and resolve to not return to destructive habits is what contributes to successful maintaining.

I'm very sore from yesterday's Dynamic workout at my gym. I'm trying these classes for 30 days. But because I don't want to give up my current routine, I am adding it in the evening for now. So far so good.

I'm headed out for 5 mi walk with fitness buddy this morning and then will do dynamic class at 6:30 tonight.
