Thanks to everyone for your emoticon on my years of maintenance. My life has changed so much since I lost the weight as you can see by my before and after pictures on my Spark Page. Also my doctor told me recfently that I had made much progress since my 70's. He said I look good for 84 and am in good health for 84. Doing the happy dance.

Now just have to get my other knee done.

Back from traveling and will check weight tomorrow morning. Didn't do too badly because we got to cook meals the last few days. It is hard to get in exercise when the temperature is 95-100 and there is no schedule. We had active days so hopefully that helped.

Quick check in late in the day for me. Walked and walked in way too hot weather with too little water...measuring one of the trails for our club's walking festival next month. It was supposed to be 12K but came in at 14K with lots of hills and uneven terrain. Tired!

Hi everyone,
Very late with my check in today but I enjoy reading everyone else's check ins. Looks like everyone is having a beautiful Sunday. I ate a lot of chees last night. I have not eaten cheese in so long and I enjoyed every bite. Our dinner hosts had a platter of various cheeses that were delicious.
Today, I am getting ready for our new routine with school starting tomorrow and watching the football game and relaxing.
Have a restful day!

Did a lot of walking at the fair. Had a blow-out eating day. Wasn't going to track it, but decided to take a crack at it. Over 3000 calories, most from fat. We went to one of those restaurants where even a half order is twice as much as a sane person would eat.
I had to have one "fair food", a German meat pie. I won't have one again. Too greasy! We had a light dinner but the damage was done. Not much of a difference in the scale, so the walking must have countered the sodium somewhat. Singing in a small group for church this morning, choir starts next week. Have a great Sunday!

Good morning team - sounds like everyone is having a great weekend and finding time to enjoy a little extra R&R. I was supposed to get up extra early and do a 11 mile run before church this mornning, but yesterday was an out the door by 7:30AM and by the time all was said and done, I didn't get home till almost 11PM. When the alarm went off this AM and it said the temp was already 76 degrees and high humidity, I decided that maybe "catching up" on some sleep while my baby sis is here and I can would be the wiser choice. When she isn't here, getting up to feed and care for the critters falls to me - regardless of what else is going on schedule wise. I will get a run in tonight after she leaves to go home. Finally saw the scale head back down and am safely under my mid goal range. Making bean soup with smoked turkey and kale for dinner and serving over cornbread with a massaged kale salad. Going to be a busy week, so hoping to have some leftovers for a healthy grab and go meal. Got to make a batch of steel cut oat to keep in the fridge too. E

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!

Hi everyone.. it's a beautiful sunny day here today and I can still get my laundry out to line dry which is nice. I love the energy savings and the fresh smell of the clothes.

I had a super tired and sore body day yesterday, but did an hour of yoga before dinner and that helped a lot with the sore body.. the tired part, well nothing helps that other than a good nights sleep, which fortunately I got last night..

Have a great Sunday everyone..

Happy Healthy Sunday to everyone - those on the river and those on dry land! It's going to get warm enough today that I may go out on the water too. But the big goal today is to clean out a cabinet that I haven't looked into in more than a year - and see if I can store art supplies there. And de-clutter the pile of printed out recipes and I-Don't-Know-What-Else in the corner of the kitchen.

Got in LOTS of activity yesterday cleaning the house and walking out with my little white dog. It's otherwise a quiet weekend down on the farm and it feels fantastic.

Crazy busy in my house with 5 house guests until tomorrow and had to slip away from them yesterday to drive to a funeral with my husband. I love these morning hours. I always really need a bit of time in the morning, especially when my house is full. I am looking forward to being on the water today with everyone, doing a last summer cookout and taking a long swim.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday and is doing something they like a lot on their "day of rest." emoticon

Hi All and Happy Weekend!!

My day hasn't begun yet so I'll talk about yesterday. Weight is staying the same. It doesn't emoticon seem to matter what I eat I stay at 172. I'm sure I'm not really going off the mark on the eating end. I have upped my cal to a reasonable level 1600-1900 (instead of 1200). My workout yesterday was great. I did strength training concentrating on my thighs and butt got 51 minutes. I did circuit training, concentrating on my arms, for 28 minutes. I felt so good afterwards. My muscles in my arms and thighs are sore right now. I hope I don't have any trouble sleeping because of it.

I finally made to my doc. I may have reported this already but still very excited. The plan is to get rid of six different medicines by 6/14. I take so many meds not to mention all the vitamins I take. I sure would like to be a normal person and only take vits.

Looking forward to the football game tomorrow. We're having a couple people over. Should be fun. Not sure how I'm going to get my workout in but I'll manage somehow.

I hope everyone has glorious and blessed Sunday.

Good morning!

I thought I'd check in while I'm up way too early. I read all the check-in comments from yesterday, had some Greek yogurt and am hoping to fall back to sleep. It was good to see Venisew back on board--and oh, yes, moving is stressful. Best wishes on selling your house and getting settled into your new home.

DH and I ran our usual 3.3 mi route yesterday morning, me in 33 min; DH finished way ahead of me. He is very strong and the boot camp type classes he is taking have really brought him a long, long way. We had a wonderful day at the sandbar; watched the sunset across the water and even had a rainbow--no rain on us though so it was really unusual. We could have stayed out all night but I'm glad to have the WIFI at the marina right now, since I can't sleep. I need to upgrade to a smart cell phone so I have access any time.

Hope the mammo went well Kellie. They have come a long way but still not a fun thing.

Okay, I'm gonna try laying back down. I'm wishing everyone a beautiful, glorious and healthy Sunday.
