Finally checking in. Another long work day. My sympathies to all who are dealing with illness and grief. I saw a woman today who used to work in our department...only a few minutes of conversation to learn that her husband died in July. Life is so precious--live and cherish every day!
Hi all, I walked the dogs about seven times today. I took Mom to her day care and talked to two contractors about installing a ramp for Mom. She is not walking very well. I did not get an estimate on a wheelchair ramp yet. I do not think one will ever come. I will have to contact more contractors about the ramp. Linda from bean
Weighed in at 172 again. I have remained pretty consistent there. Today I finally go to the doctor to see if since I lost just over 100 pounds and I've been working out, can I get off some of these medications. I also want to discuss the weight loss since I did this on my own without doctors oversight. I'm really happy to finally be seeing her. KELLI - what's wrong with your co-workers son and what are their names? I would like to pray for them.
Good morning. Back at work after a long weekend. It's TOM and more bad news at work. Since I started here 15 months ago there have been four deaths of co-worker's family members and two fatal diagnoses. Today's news is about someone's son who is the same age as my daughter and I'm having a very hard time.
So I'm going to do the best I can to get through the day!
I like the idea of goign to Pago Pago and going back in time.
FINALLY, a "good" day with ample exercise and food within calorie limits. Nice to break a bad trend...I am SUCH a creature of habit.
Bad thing was that my boss took a tumble yesterday, broke her nose, and needed some stitches. Good thing was no concussion. Good or bad thing: She won't rest! She has been blitzing us with e-mails since early this morning.

60 minutes of water jogging followed by 45 minutes of water aerobics, followed by 45 minutes very low impact exercise is my morning. Oh how good it feels to be back in a routine again. Then 2 night its teaching dutch oven cooking to our young women church group and then the 7 yr. old grandson is spending the night. Should be a good day.
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it
Wow - it was good to hear about all those anniversaries coming up. I'll confess it. I can't wait to be able to claim that I've been at goal for a year. It's one of the things that helps keep me at it. Hearing y'all celebrate yours makes me all the more excited about being a part of the team. Never doubt that you are monumental inspirations - 'cause you are.
It felt fantastic to get back to the gym yesterday and I did a great 45 minute cardio workout but this morning I read Nicole Nichols post about Tabata and suddenly knew I wanted to give this a try - so today I'm going to give it a go for 4 minutes when I'm on the stationary bike. I'll let you know how it goes. Here's a link to the article:
Good morning! Hump day already. I, too, am still recovering from an over-stimulating weekend which was highlighted by time with loved ones and also dampened by news that cancer took two lives and has got a stronghold on a third. I am reminded that We have so little control.
Okay, off to the gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min RIPPED class. I haven't stepped on scale yet but am paying close attention to hunger cues before eating.
