Another late check in. I was up early, got a little tidying done, then went downtown for lunch and to pick up a few things at the market. Home to make salsa verde and pickles...two experiments with fermentation. I've made the salsa once before, but this is my first try at traditional pickles. It'll be 2-3 weeks before I know if they're a success! We spent the afternoon and early evening on the boat. It was a practically perfect day on the lake. Home to a late fast-food Chinese dinner. I hope the sodium doesn't undo my good efforts for the week.

Good evening all, checking in way late today! Had a great night my DH and my kids at my DD's childhood friend's wedding, did a little dancing and ate sensibly.
Today I got my two-mile run in, only walked the dog a couple blocks because of rain and then did some ab and lower body ST.
I'm catching up on everyone's news. Big hugs Linda. Maree, what a great way to start the morning!

Hi all, I've been taking the day off today. I'm just lounging around answering all my SparkMail are trying to build the leadership team. This is more difficult than I expected it to be. I weighed in at 172 again today. I may do some Wii exercise later, I really don't know. It's just a lazy day.

Today's workout: Cardio, core, two Sparkpeople videos, stretching. An afternoon walk. 90 minutes of dragon boating.

Work travel this week, and boy do I need to get back on track. The food and tasty microbrews in Boulder sucked me into complacency this week, so I am trying to restore my routine.

I am working on acquiring a wheel chair ramp for my Mom. I had a hard time getting her into the house after I took her out in the car for a short ride to the post office. I walked my little dog but have gained weight because of the stress of Mom's condition. Alzheimer's disease is a terrible thing to live with. Please pray for us. Linda from bean town

An easy weekend for me and I'm doing a sun dance, hoping it will come out after a week of clouds and rain.
Exercise is going well and I'm back into my stationary bike routine after having my Mom here for a week.. Yoga and walking are still on the agenda also.

Hiking and helping on a Eagle scout project out at the local wild life area about 20 miles from town is on the agenda and then heading back to the fair to walk around followed by The Oak Ridge Boys concert tonight.

Morning team - waking up this morning a little tired. Got to get moving and off to work for an 8-5 today. Little sis is in town for the weekend and tomorrow after my morning long run and church we will BBQ. Plan to get the closet shelves added and work on reorganizing this next week. Ended the month less than 2 pounds over the low end of my goal range. Now to make it through this weeekend without doing too much damage.

Good morning! Beautiful sunrise across the water is greeting me again this morning. All our guests arrived so we have a full houseboat. The baby got into her vasoline before falling asleep last night, so she will be a "grease monkey" -- she is stirring a little just now. lol All her babies and stuffed animals got "moisturized" too.
My 3+ mi. run went well yesterday a.m. but ouch the IT band hurt all day. This morning it's better. But I think I will "RICE" -- Rest -- today. Boating out at the sandbar is high on the agenda--so looking forward to that. I'm savoring each of these summer days, hot as they may be.

Good morning spark friends. I have company rolling in anytime after lunch so my main workout today will be to get this house Company Clean. There will be swimming and boating and a cookout for dinner. I plan to have really healthy snacks out all afternoon - fruits and veggies - and I've saved up some extra points to splurge on what friends are bringing.

Good morning, team. Feels good waking up on this still summer morning with a full day ahead to plan as I wish. I have a "head of steam" up for a full writing day while my dh heads to see grandkids play soccer. Writing is sedentary, but I'll take micro breaks and squeeze in some time on the elliptical later in the day.
I hope everyone is finding some enjoyment in their weekend.
