Hi walked the dogs. I washed the kitchen floor and washed the dog after he rolled in the dirt. I took Mom to her day program but I had help bringing her down the front stairs. I need to have a ramp built for the front door. Linda from bean town

I'm slowly getting back into routine after having company for a week and have been a bit tired.
Finally I have an ultra sound appointment tomorrow to check out my gall bladder and see if that is what could be causing me the gastric problems I've been having. They've actually settled down this past week!!
Today is yoga and dog walking and the rain has returned, but it's seems to have stopped long enough to get the dogs out..
Glad to hear that people are on the mend. Linda, don't forget to take care of yourself as you take care of your mother. Last night I got the "just do it" urge and did the first day of Couch to 5k. I don't have running shoes yet, so I did it barefoot. I'd forgotten that the tread of the treadmill really chews up the feet. Other than that, I'm fine.

The doc says I'm doing everything he would tell me to do for the plantar faciitis, that I should keep it up and he sees no reason I can't make the 10K I planned the end of September. He said if it's worse in four weeks, he'll send me for a cortisone shot.
I bought shoe inserts it's like I have a brand new heal! He's also a runner so we had a good talk about stretching and different running styles.
Maree and Bess. I am glad you are doing better. I am wearing my orthotic, so my foot is feeling better. Zumba is still hard, because of all the jumping, but I try to modify. I did pilates yesterday which was great. I love what it does to my body.
I had Zumba last night. it was the instructior's birthday, and she brought back old favorites. Of course every favorite was a fast song. So my muslces were crying by the end. My quads were so sore, that for the last routine, I just couldn't jump so I ended up just doing the steps. (Which when I looked around is what a lot of people were doing)
So glad to hear that Maree and Bess are on the mend and able to move again!
I am in a "post vacation" sort out, organizing everything. I got my kitchen back in order yesterday, and did a few work projects that needed tending. Today I spend getting on top of business and office projects for fall. My whole agenda is clear except for that and I'm glad I set aside the time.
Will get in a workout too and make a trip to the store. Have a Sparkin' good day, friends!

Glad to hear the leg is better, Maree. it has turned hot here again but the morning cricket songs tell me that fall is not far away. It's still a challenge at work as we grope our way forward with the new software but I felt confident enough yesterday to be out of the office for my WW meeting and for another walk down to the bank. That's progress. I also got to the gym last night - oooo sweet. 30 hard minutes on the stationary bike and some strength training afterwards. ahhhh.

I have a fitness assessment today so I'm interested to see if my WW scale matches the gym scale. I'm holding at 148.4 -- happy about that. My leg feels better (Pilates choice yesterday was a good one). DH and I walked through the woods last night for over an hour -- hot, but enjoyable. 30 min elliptical and 60 min RIPPED class on agenda this am.
Sending good wishes to Linda as she cares for her mother--a tough job, and to Kelli--hoping nothing serious on heel and all those battling those few "creeping" lbs that try to separate us from goal (ain't gonna happen--we are stronger than that!!)
