ss dellmell, my thoughts and prayers are you and your family. Its understandable that thinks have been off for you. Lots of walking today at the fair and put in 16 hrs working at our clubs food booth. Sweated off anything i ate for sure.

MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Hello everyone sorry I haven't been checking in. But had a funeral. Had to get my son and grandson straight out. They list their girlfriend and mother in a car accident. Didn't have time to get on. Glad to be back. Have to do alot of catching up. Didn't di any exercise and didn't eat right either.

I had a busy Monday. I took Mom to her day program and walked the dogs six times already. I am making supper and need to feed Mom. I also have to feed my little dog Dusty. I received my Medic Alert bracelet and have to put Moms on her. Have a great day. Linda from bean town

Happy Monday team - busy catching up on stuff this morning, so checking in a little late.

Take care of that leg Maree - RICE! It seems to have really helped with the foot and leg aches after my adventure back into the world of running yesterday. (That and a couple of Aleve).

This sure is a busy, busy team - you all inspire me so! Going to work 2-11 today, but have to get the car back in the shop tomorrow so I will take some time after I drop it off to try and get a few miles in while I wait for the verdict. Hope you all have a marvelous Monday!

My eating was way over yesterday due to our block party, though I tried to be mindful, it adds up fast! Weight up 2 lbs from yesterday as a result. Funny thing, we've had no rain for weeks and we had a shower just as we were setting up. We just moved the party inside. I signed up for the maintenance challenge today, using yesterday's weight minus 3% as my center point. I hope I lose my way out of the challenge. Yesterday I also reset my weight loss and fitness goals, linked my fitness to my nutrition and reset my pedometer. I'm on my way! emoticon

* Today is a new day! I have a great outlook for today.
* Welcome back TORTISE110
* I stayed within my range yesterday and exercised for 30 minutes.
* I haven't weighed myself yet this morning but I think it's about 172.
* I plan on at least 120 minutes of exercise today
* I plan to do some cooking today. Need lunches for the rest of the week, dinners, quinoa and a dessert. I think I'm going to try a new dinner recipe today.

* Didn't sleep good last night so probably will go back to sleep.
* My fearless leader is MIA and I'm running my team alone. I don't know how much longer I can keep it up if I don't get some help. All I need is 3 part time leaders. I'll keep praying and I'll see what happens. If things do not change I will be forced to quit to save my sanity.

First day of school here! That means I was up at 4:45 for my run in the dark. At the office nice and early to *hopefully* get some work done. I LOVE summer, but the school year routine is much more conducive to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Well so much for my good plans as a thunder storm came in so the 45 mins of water aerobics got cancelled but did get in 70 mins of water jogging. Will have to try again tomorrow. Not complaining to much as we really need the rain.

Morning everyone! I am feeling energized this morning - lots of stuff taken care of yesterday, and went to bed early to boot. I'm also sipping right now on my first attempt at making a protein smoothie (it's delicious!). Gotta do my ST here in a couple of minutes.

Good morning! Good to check in and be with you all again after vacation. Hope Kellie and Maree stay on those injuries and that they heal quickly. Maintenance is hard enough without being hobbled in any way!

I will miss the ease of beach exercise, but back at walking, elliptical and ripped tapes Gil the weekend. I will just dream beach dreams...

Ate outside last night as we have so often this summer. Lovely.

Hey Hey Hey Happy Monday! Good luck with your leg Maree!

I had a great day Saturday with DD running a local 5K. My heel was pretty aggravated a couple hours later. Getting that looked at tomorrow. I was able to try canoeing. That was wonderful.

I was very lazy yesterday but pulled myself up, cleaned, did laundry, took the dog for a walk then a 40-min kickbox video.

Back on track August challenge is going very well.I hope everyone has a positive day!

Heading to the Y for a hour of water jogging followed by a 45 min low impact water aerobic class. Then its home to make a batch of raspberry jam, and getting the final prep done for the 30 items i'm entering in the fair that starts tomorrow. Been keeping in the mid calorie range lately and that seems to be working well for me. Not sure how this week will go as I will be at the fair for 8-10 hrs per day till monday so exercise will suffer. But i will get in some extra walking just touring the fair. Luckly I'm not a big fair food person so that helps. Have a great day everyone. Marlee take care of that leg and heal quickly

Good Morning. I woke up early and got in 45 minutes on my stationary bike, and will go to zumba tonight. I did better with food choices yesterday, and stayed in the lower range. I am really struggling with emotional eating. I think I was able to not gain for so long and in fact lost, that when I started eating more; I deluded myself into thinking it would not matter.

This is truly a lifestyle, and I need to incorporate healthy habits into everything I do.

Take care of that strained leg, Maree. Hope it heals quickly. Smart of you to drink lots of water Phebess - I tend to forget to do that. I think I ought to pick that as September's tweak. Everyone sounded like she and he got out in the Summer Outdoors yesterday - I did too. A nice long hike around the farm and the woods with Himself and the dogs this time.

But my eating has been extremely high calorie the past 2 weeks and this morning the scale poked it's needle above the 150 mark. NOT a good thing. I believe I will see how close I can come to living at the low end of my calorie range this week. Party on Saturday but ... there's no reason I can't lay low the rest of the week. I sure want to be at goal on the first weigh in in september.

Calories in the high middle range, but decent considering the fact that I've walked 5 miles today - in the hot hot Samoan climate. Drank a ton of water. A good day.

Good morning!

Here we go, last week of August. I wish I could hang on to summer. I can only hope for a beautiful Fall. Foam roller and stretching on this right leg seems to be working--it hurts all the way from the glute muscle to the knee. Ice, too. Yesterday's run was an aggravating factor.

I'm headed to the gym at 5:00 am for 30 min cardio and 60 min ST class. We're supposed to start with walking lunges and my plan was to increase my dumbbell weight. Stressful morning at work. A hot week will make noon and after dinner walks uncomfortable but I shall "just do it"!!

I hope Monday brings all my friends a bright shiney day :)))!!
