Today I did volunteer work and cleaned horse tanks for three hours. I wan't sure how to log it on my fitness, definitely an upper body workout, so I logged 90 minutes of farm work. Besides walking the pups and walking while doing errands, that was it for me.

Green tea muffins, yum! I did OK with food yesterday even though we ate both meals out. Dim sum for breakfast and Turkish food for dinner. Today I'll go to church, we'll probably take the sailboat out for a bit and then a neighbor is hosting a block party. Toni mentioned the other day the "back to school" vibe. Yesterday I was planning and preparing. This morning I'm 10 lbs over my low weight, almost 9 over goal. That's going to change! I've got to start moving more, whether I enjoy it or not. In my vacation closet organization I've ALMOST uncovered the treadmill, I've ordered a new pair of running shoes and when they arrive...no excuses, no more "somedays", this is the year I do Couch to 5 K!

Good morning! Another beautiful cool end of summer morning. Took the girls to church with me and just finished a nice breakfast with some fresh fruit. Going to a friend's today to go swimming and plan for our Disney cruise in November. We are all looking forward to that!
Yesterday, I went over my calorie limit more than I should have. I tracked everything anyway because I still want to know how much indulging I did. I find that I am able to manage it better if I continue to track everything.
Off to the store and a bike ride. Enjoy the day!

Happy Sunday everyone! I'm doing my usual Sunday morning routine of Taebo and breakfast. I think I may make green tea muffins. I am probably going to be spending most of the day studying for my licensing exam - I've only got about 2 more weeks to go!
My weigh-in was down again today. I haven't been doing anything different recently, so I'm not sure why I'm suddenly dropping weight, although it's not entirely unwelcome, as long as I am burning fat and not muscle. My clothes have been a little baggier recently, which makes me hopeful it is the former. I'll find out next week when I do the rest of my measurements.
way to go marlee, your hard work has shown everyone it can be done. Church today and then scouts, hope to get a bike ride in sometime. Tomorrow the Y pool is open and i can't wait to get back in my routine. short nite of sleep as my nephew and I texted back and forth till after midnight talking about our hunting guns, and dreaming of the ones we want to purchase yet. He has very expensive dreams let me tell you. But it is great having something so much in common. Have a great Sunday everyone.

I'm up early and getting ready to head out on a test run in the new orthotics. Praying all goes well. So tough to get up after only 6 hours sleep, but getting in a run before it is too hot will make it worth it.

Took a great 5 mile walk out across the field and through the forest yesterday. All by myself, too - which is unusual, since Himself always comes with me when I go to the cypress forest. I had the dogs of course but that long silent stroll through the quiet green tunnel with its soft floor was magical. It was exercise for the soul as well as the body.
Food has been a little high but weight is still at goal. I feel though, that i better watch it more closely starting right now. Like I'm teetering on a precipice and can stay safe or tumble over. Feeling like being in the safety zone.

Good morning! Oh what a fun day on the river with good friends. Boat ran great for her first cruise out of the dock. Sandbar was perfect, the dogs enjoyed a swim and a run, we drank beer and had a few cheese and crackers and I felt very proud of my abs in my bikini. All the hard work is paying off. Feeling so blessed.
I look forward to race results. I plan to run my 3,3 mi route this morning. Having birthday cake with our 3 yr old niece at noon.
