Greenhome1! Good for you! I reconnected with my ex after approx. 30 years. I was so glad we did. We resolved a lot of issues that we had. I saw him last Oct. and we were very comfortable around each other. I may never see him again but that weight that lifted off my shoulders was as they say priceless. Good luck!
I was 167.2 this morning. Think it was a low weigh day.

Weighing in at 5 lbs under goal this morning, and yesterday, I took a picture of myself and sent it to my ex, who hasn't seen me in 25 years, and the first thing he wrote back was "You look really thin!".
Actually, that's the important news of the day: I have reconnected with my ex-husband after 25 years, and he's no longer mad at me and we're going to be talking on the phone later today.
REALLY late checking in today, but just got home from work. Couple of not the best days has my weight holding steady at miss goal range but trying to get to a couple pounds under for cushion. Today was the second day in the orthotics. Going to take them for a nice slow test run tomorrow and see how that goes.

Just back from two weeks of vacation--I think I was pretty good a keeping food intake to a reasonable level, even though people kept bringing pie over for dessert. At home I never eat dessert, so it was on my mind to cut other things when I knew I would have pie. Pretty active vacation--hiking, swimming, kayaking, biking along with reading and socializing and eating!
Today was the driving day and with a six hour ride, there is not a lot of room for exercise. I am just now going to get a Spark video and do some strength training.
Waiting until tomorrow morning to check the scale and see how well I maintained my weight.
Hi All, I walked the dogs eight times today. I feed the cats and weighed myself. I am the same weight as last week. I will have to watch it to lose a couple of pounds. Best wishes on a wonderful evening. Linda from bean town

Pam, I feel your pain! I'm way over my final goal weight, though still within "normal" range. What I plan to do when I join the challenge is to make my "center weight" my current weight minus 3%. That way I'm out if I go any higher, but I can lose up to 6%. I'm still hoping to get the number lower before the challenge deadline. I just can't seem to get rid of the bloat.
I went to the Farmers Market yesterday. I bought English cucumbers to make pickled cukes and onions for tomorrow's block party. I also got a couple of lemon cukes, a small watermelon, a cantaloupe and a half gallon milk. That was plenty to carry back to the car!
News not so great on the weight front. I think the raise in cals has finally caught up to me. I have been hanging around 175-177 for too long now. That puts me 3-5 lbs above goal. I'm not to sure what to do about that. My cals should be 1600-1900. I've been staying about in the middle but I used to eat about 1200. I'm pretty sure it will even out in time but I really wanted to join the challenge.
DO I START THE CHALLENGE AT 175 WHICH IS WHAT I AM NOW OR DO I DTART IT AT 172 WHICH IS MY GOAL AND WHERE I WAS A WEEK AGO
All my stats are great. I have been working out and burning cals that I have not counted in yet because I was waiting to see if anything this happened.
I hope to hear from the team soon.
Thanks. Your Pam
Have a Super Weekend

It's finally the weekend! I have a pleasant morning planned of working out with Coach Nicole, going to the Farmers Market, spending a couple hours at a fun professional event, and then hanging out with friends from that afterwards.
I will definitely have to spend some time studying for the licensing test I have coming up though...didn't do as well as I wanted to on a practice test last night. =/
Happy Saturday all!

Good morning! It is a beautiful cool morning and I opened all the windows to let the fresh air in after a few humid days with some rain. Had a few days of eating over my limit this week too and I started to undo it yesterday with lots of water and fresh fruits and veggies.
We are having some friends over the house today with their young families so the girls will have fun playing. Just going to BBQ burgers and sausages with some hotdogs for the kids. I made a healthy pasta salad and a veggie platter with SP zucchini dill dip. Of course I will serve some of the favorites like southwest dip and guacamole, but putting my healthier spin on them. I am going to try to stay away from the appetizers today since I do not want to undo the benefits from yesterday. We shall see. I have always been a pushover for the southwest dips.
Hi there! Today is race day. My town is holding a Summer Blast. It starts with a 5K which I will be doing with DD and then there are activities throughout the day ending with a band and fire works.
DD had a Murphy's law day yesterday and didn't make the train until after midnight so we both got VERY little sleep last night! We've both always been the little engines that could through the years so we can manage this!
I saw canoeing on the list of activities today so I'm hoping to get in on that. Never did that before.
the bright moon, visible at last after weeks of rain (or at least what seemed like it) woke me at 4:30. After 30 minutes I decided to go ahead and get up. Today I will do something wonderfuly exercise-ish but I don't know what yet. Maybe a long hike - maybe step and a shorter walk. Just remembered it's Farmer's Market day in town. Maybe I'll go hang out with the crowd. Tomorrow we're going to the city to celebrate Himself's Special Day ... which isn't a birthday but a day he likes to celebrate just because. I'll get a chance to visit my mother while I'm there.
I've been eating way over my limits this week - way way way over them. I think I'll see how quickly I can undo the damage of 4 days of software stress eating.
