Morning all, Up and at em early here in central VA. Cool start to the day compared to the past few. Cold front came through yesterday bring lots of rain and this break in humidity.
Weighed in at 133.6. Even after all this time the little fluctuations bother me. Oh well it's still below my goal and weighing everyday as annoying as it can be sometimes seems to keep me honest. For the most part
Hi All, I took the dogs for a couple of walks. I took Mom out in the car and she did not go into the grocery store. I was afraid she may fall. She saved her strength to get in and then out of the car and walk with the walker to the front door with less stairs to get into the house. She ate very little and I bought her baby food for super. I'm enjoying my visit with my Mom and it truly amazes me how well she is and how she can still eat so much sugary foods! I'm the most health conscious member of my family and I'm the one that has the arthritis.. hmmm
Mom is leaving on Sunday and my sister is arriving tomorrow to spend the day and then take Mom home.
My gastric attacks have been calmer, which is nice!!..
Toni, I'm with you. This time of year puts me in the back to school mindset as well. It's a time for fresh starts. Weight still up but down from earlier in the week. It's discouraging, but I must persevere!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm going to be stuck in my office for most of the day, but I'm hoping for a productive day so I don't have to do any work at home this weekend. Normally I go out with friends on Friday night, but I have been a bit congested and have an early wake-up time on Saturday, so I think I'll have a quiet night in instead.
Time to do some Bollywood dancing and eat breakfast. Have a great day!

DH took me out to dinner last night, yum, but ate too much so when we got home I took the dog for her 20-min walk, did a spark people 10-min video then my ab routine I learned from a trainer I worked with earlier this year.
Tonight I'll pick up DD at the train, then she and I are running in a 5K near my house in the morning. It's a part of a last summer thing in my neighborhood, lots going on. I saw kayaking on the list so I'm going to see if I can in on that!
GOOD MORNING TEAM! Quick check-in, have to get ready and head out for work. Kinda of tough getting up this morning - left the house at 8AM yesterday AM and the day was FULL of appointments with DR, PT., tire rotation and working as a volunteer for an adventure run. Didn't make it home till almost 9PM. Had to eat on the road, but the choices weren't too bad. Unfortunately, I think they contained a bit more sodium (and fat?) than I estimated and the scale is up about 1.5 pounds this AM. Nothing a couple of clean eating days won't take care of. Got the new orthotics. Going to bring an extra pair of shoes to work today and switch out at lunch.
Want to thank all of you for your encouraging words on my featured blog post. Your support means more to me than you will ever know! I promise to stop and thanks each of you properly as soon as I have a couple of hours to sit still. It is because you each of you on this marvelous team that I have been able to stay focused and maintain this long and I owe you each a debt of gratitude that I can never repay - But I will try!

I just love checking in here every day. You are all so positive and thoughtful, taking care of self, loved ones, spiritual health as well as bodily health. I feel like I'm surrounded by such positive people I can't help but be inspired.
Today is another heavy day of software training and there will be pizza. and lots of sitting. But tonight there will be walking. and this weekend I can get really active.
Happy friday to all. Wonderful day planned today. Heading to Minniapolis to our temple to spend a quiet day but reverent day with God and good friends and then just spending time getting the last of my entries ready for the fair that starts next week. I have 25 things entered in this year ranging from crafts, jams, bread, fresh veggies, and dehydrated fruits and venison jerky. Just putting the final touches on a few things. If time allows I hope to get out to the shooting range tomorrow for somemore target practice as hunting starts in 3 weeks. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning. Last day at the beach and I plan to spend it taking in the day and thinking about fall plans. Not going back to any school, but am in a back to school soon frame of mind. Meanwhile gotta make breakfast for four grandkids. Loving that.

Good morning Team Mates! It's Friiiiiiidaaaay! Yaaaay!
I plan to take a late lunch and leave work about 3:00 so DH and I can head over to the River. We are so looking forward to a relaxing weekend, which will include anchoring out in the "shallows" -- a big sandbar that has a huge shallow area, with a sandy bottom. It's perfect for standing in the water, beer in hand, great tunes, dear fellow boating friends, stories, laughter, dogs, sunset across the water, full moon -- you get the picture.
But first I shall head to the gym for 30 min of elliptical and 60 min RIPPED class. I've increased my weights in RIPPED class, especially for leg work. DH and I got an extra 60 min walk in after dinner last night, and I met a friend after lunch for a hot 35 min walk.
I hope everyone creates their own special day today!!
