Today has been a great day. Tonight was my cheat night with mom out to dinner. I went way out of line tonight but it was so good.

My microwave went out. emoticon it's amazing How much I miss it. DH wanted to get one immediately. I told him we could do things the old fashion way for a couple of days. emoticon

No exercise today and didn't drink enough water. All around I did poorly today but tomorrow is another day. emoticon

I had a pretty nice birthday. Breakfast held me until dinner out with my sister-in-laws. Today is another untrackable day because I brought home the leftovers and had them for breakfast. I'm still doing some cleaning and organizing...the more I do, the more I seen that needs to be done!

Good Morning Team

The weather gods have blessed us with much needed rain and it's nice to see the trees looking happy once again. It was so dry and dusty for the past 6 weeks, so this is very welcomed. Having wet dogs after our walks is the downside, but I can live with that!

I got up early enough to do a 60 minute yoga workout this morning and it sure felt great.. it really loosens up my stiff morning body..

Good Friday Morning, Spark Friends! DH took the day off and we are on our way to Six Flags Great Adventure for the day. Girls have never been there so it should be fun for all of us. Beautiful weather today. Should be 80 and dry. Well be trying to avoid too much junk food but it will be difficult.

DH ordered Chinese food last night while I was out with the girls, so I had some veggie lo mein for dinner last night with broccoli and string beans. It has been a long time since I had Chinese food. It was delicious. I was happy I did not go for a second helping. Today is a new day!

Good mornin to ya!

It's been a pretty depressing and challenging week but I made it. I kept up with my August back on track goals to avoid dwelling on events of each day.

I ran/walked three miles last night after resting for three weeks due to my heel pain. My heel is aching a bit but it went well last night. I felt like I could run the entire three miles. I think I'll be okay for the 5K next weekend.

I'm determined to make myself happy Monday morning by having a positive, healthy weekend!

Nutrition kinda crappy the past couple days - within range, but by no means healthy. Just a hectic life thrying to get in my way. Back on track today and weight holding steady. Think I may have a new fitness buddy - a fellow injury recovering runner who is about my age and works out at the same fitness center I belong to. We are messaging back and forth to see when we can meet up - now off to work and tonight making/serving dinner at the homeless shelter. Have a fantasstic Friday everyone!

Calories toward the top end of my range, walked 10K steps - yesterday, was just a bit under my caloric range, and walked another 10K steps - so I figure it all balances out.

Ah yes - Su - I have those days too. Sigh. So we just make today different, right.

I have my computer back at last - it's devirused and unmalwared and all those other things computer gurus do with them. It's great to get it back but I certainly had fun the past few mornings, taking long walks with my dogs instead of short ones.

Today it's down right chilly but I'll get out in about an hour. I haven't wanted to be at the gym all week, instead longing to enjoy the beautiful cool weather we're having. Not to worry - it's supposed to be HOT HOT HOT next week. Summer is with us still. Off to a big wedding today where there will be F O O D . But there will also be D A N C I N G.

Good morning, fellow maintainers!

Ah,Sue, those days when we celebrate good food. My day is coming this Sunday when we host a birthday party for our granddaughter who turned two last Friday. I also like the phrase "If I halve it I can have it" to help me refrain from over-indulging on those days.

Today is my light workout day--5 mi. walk with fitness buddy, and some targeted ST for hips and thighs. I was up at 2:00, due partly to my excitement to see DD and granddaughter later this evening, the cat being her annoying self and a horrible charley-horse episode with both inner thighs. I'm getting a lot done--early bird catches the worm syndrome. Ha!

I hope you had a great birthday yesterday, Oneweigh, and that everyone has a great Friiiiiday!

let's see if i can get it right this time:-) checking in to admit that as good as two days ago was, yesterday was that bad... ah well, not every day can be perfect. we had company coming so we did not get out on the morning walk - nor any other walk later in the day, or at least i stayed in to work. and dinner - let's just say i didn't know when to stop eating.

so today is a new day. weather is looking ugly, but somehow there will be miles to walk (i suspect we'll save the next run for tomorrow), and while we won't be strictly "clean eating" today, it will be a lot cleaner than yesterday...
