More of a rest day, but I still take the dogs for their walk. Spent all day finishing up my classroom for the start of school tomorrow. I should have counted how many times I walked up and down the hall! I put down 45 minutes, even though I was at work for 10 hours.
I woke up and did a 15 minute burst of exercise to start my day.
I'm cooking a great beef stew and I'm hoping to make a new recipe of zucchini and carrot cake.
I'm still eating more cals and carbs and staying at the same weight
Pam: The Weekly Challenge Team Leader. I have reached my weight loss goal and lost 103 lbs.
I walked the dogs this morning and this afternoon. I will be walking them again very soon. I walk them about 4 times a day. I took Mom shopping and made lunch. Best wishes for a great day. Linda from bean town

Yesterday a morning and an afternoon walk.
Good morning team
I had a busy day yesterday and got a double batch of finnish rice pies made up for my husband.. one of his favourite treats.. they are just a rice cooked in milk with a bit of butter and salt and spread onto a thin whole rye dough and baked in the oven. They are finniky to make and very messy with all the sticky whole rye dough. I had a 4 litre jug of organic milk about to go off in the fridge and at over $9 a jug I hated to throw it away, so made the rice pies.. lots of work, but it's nice to have them all in the fridge for future meals.. he likes them with soup for dinners.
I did all my exercise in the morning as I am going to do today..
Reached goal weight 112 lbs November 23, 2012
Had a get-away weekend and back to the grind today. Sleep deprived, but will catch up tonight. Overindulged on food for 3 days, not to mention it was not my usual good choices either. Digestive system is out of whack.
Weight is up 5 lbs from last Friday, so I am back on the wagon again-- starting yesterday. My weight was 1 pound under what I wanted to be so didn't mind a couple pounds but FIVE is too much. I am sure it isn't all weight, but again it is a warning to get in control.
I did spend some time over the weekend with an exercise guru (a friend) who showed me some moves and gave me motivation to get going again.
Great week and the weather is still cool . . . for August.
Wiggle room on my weight! Getting consistent with exercise tipped the scales . . . in a good way~just don't think I need to lose any more--just get firm and fit!

Day two of my staycation. My trip to get my license renewed was a bit eventful. I was on the bus headed downtown and suddenly there were many police cars and sirens. Luckily by stop was the block before all the action. A bus driver was shot (he's going to be OK) and then the shooter was shot (he died this morning...and all because he didn't want to pay his bus fare.). I ended up walking out of the area rather than waiting for a bus, but then picked up a Car2Go. The concert last night was wonderful. Today I'm continuing on my chores, finishing up cleaning the oven, starting on cleaning the closet and refrigerator. But first I have to get away from this computer!
crazy busy with bad internet connections. what a combo.
Walked yesterday but no gym visit. Just didn't feel up to it. Light supper but I've eaten so much over the limit the past week I am not surprised the scales are over 150 for the first time in 5 months.
Next 2 weeks will be a zoo at work but after this weekend at least the food adventures will be over for a while. Silver lining on it's way.
I'm happy to report that the scale seems to be reversing - maybe it was the beans, or perhaps sodium? I'll have to keep an eye on that for the next time this happens.
Last week's step goal was 8K steps/day - I didn't achieve that every day, but did end up averaging 9K steps/day, so that was a bonus.
This week's goal is 9K steps/day, and I managed to get 10K steps in. so the week is off to a good start.
Good morning team!
I'm still at the top end of range. Workouts have been great, but having a hard time with food. School will be starting in less than two weeks and maybe I'll be able to get back into the groove, if not sooner. 55 minutes weight training this morning. Loving the definition in my arms. Everyone have a great day!
I'll make it to the moon, if I have to crawl.

Morning! Quick check-in before I rush out the door! Have a great day!
Hello all! Congrats to everyone!
The wakes and funerals are behind me. I have a challenging work week ahead but that is nothing compared to what some families are dealing with this week. So I will make it a good rest of the week.
I'm hitting the stairs today. One of the challenges on my August fitness card at work is to jog up and down 5 flights of stairs three times. So I'll get that over with today.
Then the elliptical tonight for interval training. That's another square on the card this month, 5 min easy warm-up, 3 min hard, 2 min recovery, repeat 5 times. I'll be thinking about you Toni!

Calories are at the top end (with weird proportions, because some people add a food and don't put in info other than calories - grrrr!) - but I've walked over 12,600 steps today, so I've burned my food!

Loved walkin' in the rain, Maree! Way to go, Celia, and go. You sound like the energizer bunny! And Deadcenter, yes, on the "wiggle room!"
Starting slowly and moving into the day. Going to hit the elliptical hard, I know, which is why I am covering my eyes when I walk by it this am! LOL I know I'll get started and all will be just fine.
Focusing on vacation to the beach next week. We go to same NC place each summer so I know exactly what's next and it makes me relax thinking about it!

Good morning! Glad Monday is over. Had 4 taskers dropped on me unexpectedly, one due two hours after I received it. Knocked out two of the four, delegated the third, and made great progress on the fourth.
Exercise yesterday was a brisk hour of walking in the morning and a tough mixed-levels yoga class in the evening. Slept pretty well because DH way away, and I sleep better when I'm not pinned in by both him and the cat.

Great weigh in this morning at 133.2. Nice to have my wiggle room back.

I'm headed to the gym for 30 min cardio and 60 min Pilates class. Yesterday I got extra walks in at noon and with DH after dinner. DH and I went exploring off the bike trail--found some thick woods with nicely kept pathways and just as we found our way out and started heading home we felt a few drops of rain. Momentum picked up and the skied opened up for our final 2 miles. It actually felt good and we had a good laugh!
Hope everyone has a great day!!
