Aschu2, it's awful that your sister...a dietician no less, isn't supportive. Some people just can't get past childhood patterns. Rise above it and do what you need to do to be healthy! I didn't sleep well. We got to bed late and then there was a (rare for here) bang-up thunderstorm. I think my big brave cat spent the whole night in the basement. I slept this morning until the youngest cat thought it would be funny to bite my big toe to see if I was responsive! This is the same cat who is now snoozing in my lap. Today is concerned with home improvement. We're meeting with a house painter and picking up the new light fixture for the dining room. Yeah light! It's been a month since the old fixture broke.

Good morning team! I am on cloud 9! Ran HOPE 7k in 42:23! Very hilly challenging course. Beat last year's time by almost 5 minutes. Not sure what the plan is for the rest of they day. I will have to go to the grocery store and get some house work done.

easy day for me too, as yesterday was a very full day. Did a shooting clays trap shoot for a boyscout fund raiser and that was a lot of walking up hill and through the woods and then got in the car and drove to green bay to take my 7 yr old grandson, his mother and his other grandma to their first ever Packer football game. Got home around 1 am and a sleep by 2am. Dog woke up at 7am hungry so so much for sleeping in. Have to deliver meals for the shut in this noon with the neighbor kid and then may head to the shooting range for some more target practice. Hunting season is right around the corner. Have too get to the farmers market also. Have a great Saturday
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Happy Saturday everyone! I've got a busy day ahead - Farmers Market, clothes shopping, and grocery shopping. I'm definitely going to plan a simple dinner tonight so I can put my feet up at some point! (I should point out that I don't have a car and use public transportation, and anything I buy at these places has to be carried back to my house. It definitely makes you think twice about what you buy!)

Just rolling off the sleeping in bandwagon. Worked untill 11PM last night and then had difficulty falling asleep. Wonderful getting to sleep in untill 6:30 this morning. Have lunch and snacks packed and heading out to work 10-7 today. I was hoping my sisters would make the pilgrimage to Olive Garden while I worked, but they have decided to put that off til tomorrow. Just not very fond of their low cal options. Maybe I can get some good rest as get a long(ish) run in tomorrow AM. Last run over 3.5 miles started a flair of the plantars. Going to try a different pair of shoes and some different inserts and see if that helps.
Scale was up 3 poounds yesterday, due to overindulging the night before, but ate clean and at the low end of my range and 1.5 of those pounds is gone this morning. Hope the rest packs it in and leaves today. Always happens with too much sugar. Still stayed under my center of goal - love having that cushion!

I'm a bit frustrated. I have my sis in town, and she's a dietician. She's the only person in my life who can't seem to be happy for my weight loss and fitness goals. She's lucky enough to manage her weight by listening to her hunger cues, and she's always been slim. We have so many fun things on the plan for today, but I will be put in situations where I can't order a salad with grilled chicken without taking a bunch of flack from my mom and sis. Worse, I'll be at place where I might literally not be able to get something "countable." I'm actually considering packing a cooler for myself so I don't get stuck and hungry! I wish she would understand that I have to mange my calories, or I WILL gain weight this week while she's here. She wishes I would have intuitive eating. Boy, me, too!
I was 219 in August 2011. I am now under 150 and seeing if I can go any farther without being obsessive. I started morbidly obese, and life is so different and better now! As of March, I went from 37% to 19% body fat, dropped from a size 18/20 to a 6/8, lost 38.25 inches all over, and love getting fired up for exercise goals!
LOL! I was wondering where everyone was this morning as I looked for the check in at 7 am and did not see it. Happy Saturday everyone! I love these mornings when I wake up before everyone and have a cup of coffee before the girls get up. Now, they are eating their oatmeal and watching cartoons. DH is still sleeping.
I ordered pizza for the girls for dinner last night and I did not even have one slice. That has never happened before. I made a salad for myself before the pizza was delivered and that filled me up. Wow! Saved a lot of calories last night.
Today we are taking the girls camping for the first time with my SIL and BIL. They have an RV but we will be be sleeping in a tent with the girls? I know they will love it. I have not been camping since I was a Girl Scout. This should be interesting. Making a fruit salad and a light pasta salad to take along. Going to us the heirloom tomatoes and cucumbers from my garden. I am also enjoying the fresh summer produce.

Hi Team, Late check in here, but everyone else is sleeping in too! That is my fantasy--that all of you are getting much needed weekend rest. I slept until 7 which is a late for me in any case. Ahhhhhhh.
Active day yesterday with walking and swimming. Resting today, but will get in the water. And baked seasonal veggies last night...eggplant, potato, onion, tomato and zucchini with a sprinkling of parmesan at the end. Yum. Anyone else loving summer produce?
