Made a fantastic recipe with homegrown eggplant; plus onion and tomatoes and Italian spices. Total calories for the entire baking dish = 487. That divided into 10 servings is ONLY 48.7 calories per servings. Can't beat that!

I'm feeling a bit anxious as the Dr.'s office called me in regarding my annual checkup blood tests. My white count is down to 1.7 and a few other things out of whack.. They said not to worry, so hopefully it's nothing.. I've had a low white count for many years, but this is the lowest.. I see him next Wednesday.. If it was more serious, I think they would have gotten me in sooner..
Hi All, I can not believe I am gaining instead of losing again. I have been going to the gym but feel hungry and ate. I will not be eating when I feel hungry. I am working out this afternoon doing some strength training. I will be writing down everything instead of eating. Linda from bean town

Compared to June and July, I'm doing well (reminds me, I need to do my accountability blog for July's stats). For some strange reason, my calories have been low many days, and I don't mean low for the new fitness-connected range calculated on the nutrition page. I mean low compared to my previous limit for maintenance, though still within that range.
For fitness yesterday, I had 43 minutes on the elliptical, ST, and a swim lesson. Today, I got in a good walk first thing, and I have my next-to-last swim lesson this evening. The result has been long days all week, especially since I needed to do grocery shopping last night, too. Looking forward to having time to attack a few piles of clutter and get the bills paid.
Morning everyone! A highlight of my week has been two times now having people tell me that I do not look like my driver's license picture. It was taken almost a year ago, right before I joined SP, when I was about 35 pounds heavier and my complexion wasn't as nice because I wasn't drinking as much water as I am now. I have gotten what I needed both times with my license, but it does make me wonder if I should get a new picture done. Anyway, it definitely made me happy!
It's my second day back to work and it's Meet the Teacher night so I won't get a run in today. I'm doing plenty of exercise at work, though. Lots of moving furniture and walking up and down halls. Today will probably be a "lighter" day as I need to start plans, but it's ok. I'm really tired and a day off will probably do me good. (That and I was "stuffy" this morning, which means my resistance is running low.) Have a great day!
P.S. My weight is still on the low side, so that's a good thing.

Good morning all. Another early(ish) start to the day. Older sister's birthday today, so I was wrapping presents and writing cards and staging them around the house this AM. Working 8-5 then picking her up to take her out for dinner.
Overdid a little last night. Had a cookie a bible study which would've been okay, but brought a Blizzard treat home for sis (and got a mini for myself). Might have barely made it within range, but truly didn't even check. I know it was too much sugar though.
Gonna watch it extra close today and then have a little latitude for dinner tonight.

My weight training session with the PT got canceled this morning but I'm going in to workout on my own. it will be a long day since I have to work till about 7:30 tonight but once I'm in town for an 8 o'clock gym session there's no point in going home for a few hours in the middle of the day. Instead I'm taking tomorrow off to set up the Family Reunion we have every August. cousins come in from far and wide - been doing it for over 150 years. I hope we get a good crowd.
Been having some unwelcome stress suck up my joy this week and it's affected my eating - true binge urges have had to be resisted - though a little calorie overload has slipped around the edges of my mental barriers. ah well. I will continue to resist the drama and look forward to calmer waters in September.

I have a dentist appointment -- cleaning -- at 8:00 so I'm meeting fitness buddy at 4:40 for our 5 mi walk this morning. I slept better last night but something got the dig barking so I can't say it was the most peaceful night. Extra walks at noon and after dinner yesterday. Tonight I have to do some baking for the Marina fish fry Saturday.
Gotta get ready so gotta go! Hope everyone who is taking this one day at a time will be successful in creating a happy and healthy day!! Cheers (with coffee of course)!!!
