A day at a time and I will reach my goal. I am not perfect but I will forgive myself for the mistakes I make. Life is full of choices and sometimes we don't always make the best ones but that's what makes us human.

Fri & Sat. binge has caught up with me . . . up 4 lbs. since Friday. Back on track, but goes to show how quick the balance can go up (or down) when we get to much (or too little) to eat.

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Finishing up packing for the oldest to head to college on Tuesday. It will be a tough day. We've been building a bedroom in the basement and changing rooms for two of the three remaining kids at home. At least their rooms are clean!

WoW! I love all the upbeat entries today! I have ate and ate (do you know how many calories is in Olive Garden Chicken Carbonara????--trust me, it is not good) this weekend, but back to normal today. Yesterday I fixed a plate of fried green tomatoes, okra, and squash for supper . . . another blast of unhealthy calories . . . all for family requests!!! I told my husband this is his ONE fried meal for the season! - - - I STILL have a hard time eating 'just' one or two pieces.
Today, my weight was up 2 lbs over Friday's weigh-in. Still, not a crisis, but an alert!

I start a NEW JOB tomorrow -- well, sort of. I'm a REALTOR and have run my own independent (and for a period, franchised with a large company) business for 13 years. I had a full service brokerage, before closing my office in town 4 years ago--during the economic downturn. Since then, I've worked from home, however, as time went by, I let the sales and marketing diminish while I took advantage of doing Price Opinions for banks (very accommodating for work-at-home country gals) and sufficiently lucrative--for a time. Now, since the foreclosures have dwindled so has my bank work and I realized that I needed to get back into serious sales again. Rather than trying to relaunch my independent business (it is hard keeping ALL the balls in the air when it is only you). I decided to join up with a bigger (much bigger) office in town. Even though I know almost everyone there, so it is not like going in among strangers, but this is harder for me than you might imagine! . . . the letting go of my independence, finally surrendering to the fact I could not do it by myself anymore.

However, I am cautiously excited about getting back in among the movers & shakers.

As far as my maintenance---
One concern is handling 'lunches' with clients and co-workers and trying to prepare ahead mentally for the transition. I'm mostly over that hump, but that is with limited exposure to fast food or restaurants--exposure is going to go UP!

On a positive note, I may consider joining a gym come fall and/or hooking up with a walking/exercise buddy.
........ it's a little easier when you are in town on a regular basis.

I must remember . . . I still have home obligations, so I'll just have to figure it out as I go.

When I closed my office it was like hitting a brick wall I was always on the go and suddenly stopped. Now, after being home for a while, my domestic side has kicked in and I'm just not sure if I can return to the high pace life again. HERE GOES - - -

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Checking in a little late. This is not because of sleeping in.... I was up at 5:00 ready to go on a short nights sleep. But, I slept hard. Went out to dinner and a movie last night with my BIL and SIL eating at Seasons 52. What a great place for the health conscious. Everything on the menu is under 475 calories and simple out of this world. I had the Caramelized sea scallops with asparagus and a grain something with a side salad. Absolutely awesome for 390 total calories. If you have one of these restaurants around you, check it out www.seasons52.com. You will not be disappointed.

Weighed on at 134.8 this morning and I like that.

Up and out the door early this morning to sing both services at church. We had a wonderful dinner last night for my MILs 80th birthday, but I ate and drank way too much. My stomach was complaining of the abuse yet this morning! Moderation today!

OAKASHANDTHORN - there is nothing wrong with adjusting your goal weight after you hit maintenance. It was kinda funny the way I lost the last 5 I'd been struggling with after I joined this team.
Maree - So sorry DD and DGD didn't make it. I know you enjoy them so much.

We played cards last night and I drank a little too much. Need to get some ST done today, meals planned, and groceries bought. Oh, and chores. Everyone have a great day!

Hello team. The WIFI at the Marina is HORRIBLE this weekend. It was so spotty yesterday, I barely got my log in points. I just caught up with all the posts from yesterday and this morning. Lots of activity going on by this team, that's for sure.

DH and I ran our usual 3.3 mi this morning--he finished about 3 min ahead of me. But I felt injury-free which was really nice.

We had perfect weather for the little boat "island hop" yesterday. DD had a bad day Friday and didn't come down; started out Saturday a.m. -- in a terrible mood, ran into a detour sign on the highway and turned around and went home. So I have all the groceries on hand that I bought for the baby--looks like I'll be making banana bread. muffins, etc! oh, well. The terrible two's are giving her fits.

Relaxing today. Hope everyone enjoys the day!

That is a great idea! Hope you have fun. Today, is a gorgeous breezy, not so hot day in NJ. Went to church. Had breakfast outside with the family. Now, we are going for a bike ride and then off to see friends and swim for the afternoon. Life is good and I am truly grateful. Have a nice Sunday!

It is so hot in Phoenix! The SparkPhoenix Team has arranged a Mall Walk at a local shopping mall. One trip around = 1 mile. The plan is to walk an indoor 5k (almost!) We start at 7:30 a.m. and will be finished before the stores open. :D

I want to try SUP, too! And kayaking...but every time REI lists a "learn to kayak" class, it's either at a location too far away, or the class fills up in a snap. Maybe December. This is where I would put a winky emoticon, but emoticons are not working for me today for some reason.

Yesterday was an overdoing day for fitness: 90-minute yoga class, 650-yard swim, ST, and got my 10,000 steps in. I also did a lot of cleaning and shopping, which took up the rest of the day. Poor kitty got no porch time, because by the time I was done with it all, it was primo mosquito time out there. So far this morning, I've started laundry, changed out the litter boxes, taken out trash, swept and mopped the master bath, and run 5K.

Hey everyone. I keep thinking about biking or walking through fullersburg woods and haven't gotten there yet.

Yesterday, besides the two 20-min dog walks, I went for a bike ride. It got cut short by work paging me. But I got 20 minutes in, then some ab work so it's all good.

I just finished the SP 28-day bootcamp 30-min total body challenge DVD. It's been a couple months since I have done that. OOOF. Need to do that more often.

My dog is panting at me. She feels she has waited long enough for her walk!

Happy Sunday!

Good morning team - sounds like everyone is having a fun filled and fulfilling weekend. Yesterday was another closing shift at work, but at least I was able to get out of there at 10PM. The upside to the closing shift is that I was able to drive out to Fullersburg woods and do a 5K with some friends (my first since being sidelined). It was a little hilly and on limestone and gravel trails, but I still managed to finish in 34.5 minutes. Did a 30 minute yoga class after that and still got home in time to get ready for work at 1PM.

BEAUTIFUL day today - wanted to sleep in, but lots to do and hate to waste a gorgeous day like this, so off to church and then to enjoy what's left of the weekend!

church today, and then still trying to claim my house after a week of girls camp. Much easy to pack things up then try and put it all away for some reason after camping. Then its a bike ride to scout meeting tonight. Didn't get any exercise yesterday except a couple of trips up and down steps when doing laundry, but stayed in calorie range. Tomorrow i get back in my routine again. Yeah Have a good Sunday all

Wow ladies I feel like a couch potato next to all these wonderful activities you gals did. emoticon I don't have a lot planned for today, going to church and grocery shopping. My booty is still sore from Thursday and now my bust is sore from an upper body workout I did yesterday. It's a good kind of hurt and I'm going to start punishing myself again on Tuesday. I think I'm going to do the same booty workout. It must be doing some good. emoticon I want to look like this pic someday. emoticon I guess that's it for today.

You all have blessed day and have fun.

Oooh, I need to try the paddle board some time!

Today - calories in range. Snorkeled the reef for about 45 minutes. A good day! (Not sure how far we snorkeled, it was quite a ways from the boat. I'm giving it a mile for my distance.)

Oooo! stand up paddling. I've seen that and it looks like so much fun.

The major house clean got done and burned up lots of calories - yay! The birthday dinner party was magnificent and I ate every bite - including the ice cream and cake. Tracked it too. I'm mighty thankful it's been such an active week. I had lots of extra points/calories to spare.

Today the temperature has dropped and the humidity has blown away and I don't have Any Obligatory Stuff to do. It's like a gift out of time.

Happy Sunday to you all.

Wow, slept like a rock. Not only did I get my pasta bar up and running at dinner time, but managed to get in a 4 mile walk with my friend (love that) and a stand up paddle trip down and around a local cove. Not to sound like the energizer bunny I did flop on a float for a good half hour rest as well. No wonder, I slept!!!

Lots of veggies cut up that did not get eaten last night. Think I'll have some for breakfast!

Have a good one, Spark mates.
