After a week at girls camp for our church with no computer access i am so glad to be back to my sparks page and family. It was a eye opener on how much i missed tracking my food and exercise over the week. I had to do a lot of guess work and tomorrow I'll check the scale and see how the week faired or should i say i faired. . Not a lot of control on the types of food, but put in a lot of exercise hiking and walking around camp and most of it was uphill or lots of steps, also got some time to do some canoeing while at camp. The weather was great with temps in the mid to low 70's during the day and cool at night.
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Happy Friday to everybody and thank you so much for the lovely welcome.
Today is my cheat day. Mom and I are going to Olive Garden. For those that don't know it's a chain of Italian restaurants and their sooo good. I so look forward to our dinners all week. I especially look forward to a rich chocolate dessert. I hope they have such a thing at Olive Garden. I'm also looking forward to a glass of wine. I rarely drink but I enjoy a glass of wine with Italian food.
I did my 10 minute burst this morning. It gets my blood pumping for the day. I'm sore from my booty video yesterday so I might take today off. We'll see how it goes.
Well that's it for today. I hope you all have a wonderfully, blessed day and I'll be back tomorrow.

Pam: The Weekly Challenge Team Leader. I have reached my weight loss goal and lost 103 lbs.
Good morning team! Hit an all time record for distance this morning on my run - 5 miles! Super excited. Playing hooky from the office to take the girls to the pool. Just have a few more weeks until school starts :( Everyone have a fabulous Friday!

TGIF! I had a tough time sleeping again last night. At least this morning I remembered my coffee! The weather is cool and damp. I plan a stop at the farmer's market on the way home and then the long cooked dinner of short ribs that was put off from yesterday. This weekend is Seafair and getting out on the boat is obligatory. We will also be celebrating my mother-in-law's 80th birthday with a family dinner at a nice restaurant. Sunday I'm singing for both services at church, so tomorrow is my only chance for sleeping in!

Yay, everyone sounds so upbeat, focused, and hopeful! Guess part of that is Friday? Anyway, I've been having some good fitness lately. I had 3 swimming lessons this week, and we've gone through everything except butterfly stroke. The only stroke I don't need to unlearn is my side stroke, though I really concentrated on form yesterday and was pleased with how fast I could go. So yesterday I walked at lunch and swam about 200 m according to the instructor. Today, I went for an early run to try a 0.25 km astroturf track. I found I didn't really like the mushiness of the track, and I think the circuit is too small for my GPS watch to measure the distance accurately, because my time was WAY off. Hoping for a practice swim after work.
Happy Friday! I am traveling today and am at the airport right now for an early flight, but I didn't let that stop me from logging into SP or doing a brief HIIT workout this morning. =) It's been one of the craziest weeks I've had in a long time, but I am trying to push through it and stick with my program. I won't be able to do much working out today, so I'm going to do my best to keep my calories low today.
Have a great day!

Hello team and Pam! Happy Friday to everyone and good luck to all of you who are racing this weekend and to those of you who are relaxing - ENJOY! A bit over on nutrition yesterday, but was a bit light the day before and will watch it more closely today. Couple that with a run this morning, a race tomorrow and then a long, slow run Sunday, and I' should be able to maintain, if not drop another quarter to half pound this week. Hope you all have a marvelous weekend!
Rain started just as we gathered, so off to the warehouse for a ST workout - still have a race tomorrow and it should be a beautiful morning Sunday for a long slow run.

Hellooo Pam - You're going to love it here. And good morning to all my teammates. Sounds like everyone's finding ways to stay active. Yesterday was my weight training day with the PT at my gym. We worked on legs. Whew. I did a new balance exercise on different equipment and watching my legs wobble as I lifted the medicine ball was pretty funny - but it also showed me how strong those leg muscles were getting.
I'm doing the #backontrack in August challenge - not because I've strayed so far away from a track but because I just feel the need for a little goal oriented structure these days. It'll be fun to see if how I do this month. If there's time today I'll blog about it.
Good Morning All, And I though I got up early. Six hours sleep seems to be the norm for me these days. If I sleep well in those six I consider myself lucky.
I did sleep well last night so between that and the reading on the scale, I'm off to a good start. Excited about the weather for today as I intend to take out the hobby car and head to the mountains or at the least out to the country back roads.
Have a great day. Tell someone you love, that you love them.

After 6 hrs of sleep, I'm up and have that little kid excitement about going to the River and seeing all the people I love in the place I love! I'm making Buffalo Cauliflower Bites (recipe on SP, the one without flour) for the "Island Hop".
I am headed to the gym at 5:00 am for 30 min elliptical and 60 min RIPPED class. I agree that a good workout, eating healthy, taking care of this earthly vessel keeps me balanced emotionally as well as physically. I'm so proud to be where I am and confident I can stay here and help pass it on to my granddaughter and everyone I care about!
