Hi everyone I'm new to this and just started maintenance the middle of July. So far so good. I worked out this morning with a circuit training video and this afternoon on the Wii fit. I didn't do any workout yesterday and I really noticed how it effected my mood.

Hi All, I worked out at the gym today. I jogged on the treadmill for 20 minutes. I used the elliptical machine for 15 minutes and then used the stationary bike for 10. I also walked the dogs for an hour today. Best wishes on this beautiful day. Linda from bean town

I am below my low weight range. I weighed 134.5 lbs. this morning. I also ran almost 5 miles this morning. I found a nice pace and was going to go farther, but I made the right choice to head home when I did.
It's sunny now, but storms are coming in this afternoon so it's good that I got my run in early.
Gahhh! My husband got up early, disrupting my morning routine. "I think I told you, I'm playing music tonight." No dear, you hadn't. I'm mentally switching the long cooking dinner I'd planned for tonight to tomorrow and thinking of something quicker for tonight and I walked out the door without my coffee. Still debating whether to buy an espresso drink at break time or just do without. At least I remembered my lunch!

Yaaaaaawn! First day back in the office for me in a week between telework, a sick day, and a couple of days of annual leave for a quick getaway with DH. So hard to go to bed at a decent time last night, and so hard to get up this morning after a short night.
I've been off the radar scope for a week, too, while we accomplished some major cleaning projects. Granted we hired out the heavy cleaning (carpets, gutters, windows), but in prepping the house for the carpet cleaner, we vowed NOT to just move all the piles back to where they were without going through them. In addition, we bought new, matching furniture for the home office, so DH won't sit at my tiny antique desk with his knees in his nose. Thanks to my honey for single-handedly assembling the new furniture!
Good morning team! Got off to a great start this morning. 55 minutes strength training. Ate a healthy breakfast, now need to get in the shower and head to the office. August is always crazy, I have two kids to get ready for back to school, a teacher husband, and the twins birthday is this month. Think I'll check out this August spark challenge. Everyone have a great day!

I think I'm going to join the August challenge Bess. I have to read it some more. I feel myself slipping into old, lazy habits. So I blogged about my goals to get me going.
A massage and facial Toni, sounds marvie! I had a massage after my motorcyle trip last month. She found spots I didn't know were bothering me. She said "I always tell people, I will find it and I will win." I love her!
Morning team! Pretty good start to August. Really "Sparked" by having a couple of few days in a row nutritionally and finally, slowly getting back to my preferred fitness (running). Also, surprised and honored to be named Motivational Member of the day on Spark yesterday and this morning saw a drop on the scale taking me back below my midrange point. As if all that wasn't enough, a dear friend that I haven't seen in 5 years susrprised me with a visit (at work) yesterday. The last time she saw me was in my pre-Spark days, so after a little catching up, I stood up to walk her out and she exclaimed - "wow, you got skinny!" I wouldn't say that I am skinny, but it is good to be reminded of how far I have come.
Today is my day off, but I am up early and headed out to the mechanic. I'll have about an hour of doen time to do some reading there while I wait for my sister to pick me up and have some reading to catch up on. Then off to P.T. and hopefully will have enough energy to get a short run in to the fitness center for some yoga and then a run/walk back later today.

Welcome August. Lots going on in my life this month, all of it good, even if it makes for a hectic 31 days. Yesterday I tried to be 'mindful' while pedaling a stationary bike - talk about hard to do. Today is strength training (in just over an hour!!) and I KNOW that will be mindful. And if I get all my work done this morning I am going to sneak away and visit my mama over in the city. There won't be time to do it again for several weeks.

I'm in. Slept pretty well last night. Feeling good today. Thursdays are always tough for me. They are the start of my weekend and sometimes I have trouble controlling or staying within my parameters for the day.

Weighed in at 133.2 this morning. Off to a good start and have been able to maintain for all of this year. That's big stuff right there.

Good morning ! I'm tired this morning--come on coffee!! Shin splint feels better today--thanks for suggestions. Ice and foam roller worked.
My fitness - walking buddy is out of town so I'm not sure whether I'll take the Pilates class or cycle fit class. I'll spend 90 min at the gym in any event.
I was pleasantly surprised yesterday-- scale was down a pound! All those extra walks, I guess.
Plus I got some good news -- DD is coming to the River this weekend. We have our annual "sandbar hop" in the little boats. Lots of yummy snacks, beer and good friends. We're taking DD's 19 ft Rinker runabout. Hoping rain holds off.
