Yesterday 90 minutes paddling.
Last day of July and no rain at all this month in our area.. central Vancouver Island.. The last time it was this dry was 1958. Not much rain in the 14 day forecast either.. just a chance.
I'm off to the Dr. for a full physical and the meds he gave me for my gastric problems sure aren't helping so I hope he can come up with some new ideas to help me out.
Blueberries are on sale this week for great prices, so I'm going to pick up 10lbs and freeze them..
Yoga is done for the day and later on is stationary bike day if I have time!

Good morning team, and welcome back, Michele!
Got a walk in early with my husband. Threw in some high intensity stair work and think I have done it for today. Always a good feeling to have a basic thing done early.
Had medical appointments this week--routine--and noticed I was not nervous about stepping on the scale at check in. It's the little joys of maintenance!
Glad to hear everyone is busy being so active. Inspires me every day. Thank you!

crazy busy day today but I got in that morning walk with my pup. Today I'll try to be mindful again when I do cardio - this time on the stationary bike. Yesterday's weigh-in was very good.

4 mile run this morning. Hit my 1000 minutes of exercise for the month without a day to spare. Also ran 43.2 miles. Woot! Scale is down a little this morning.

Less than a pound over center of my goal. Since I have been sideline from running for the past week and a half, I consider that a win. A BIG learning experience though. Still not doing well with getting my butt back to the gym. Get to do a test run this morning though. Really looking forward to it! Made it easier to get out of bed with less that 6 hours sleep.

Morning, Weighed in at 134.2. That's good considering that is where I started out this month. so although there are fluctuations, I am maintaining. :-)
Today is my Friday making this Wednesday even better. Working on self improvement as much as I can. Always Striving to be better.

I have read rest and ice for shin splints and to prevent them, while sitting, lift each leg up a little and spell the alphabet with your toe. Hope that makes sense. That is terrible about your brother but a great way to honor him today.

I'm taking it easy. From everything I've read on spark, it appears I have plantar fasciitis. Next week I'm going to the running store near me where they put you on a treadmill and watch your muscles on a monitor and analyze your gait as part of the shoe-fitting process.

Good morning on this last day of July. I'm giving blood today--my gift back in response to all those that donated when my 25 yr old brother was hit by a train and died 41 yrs ago.
Welcome back Michelle. Bess the description if your hike made me breath deep and soak it in. I love being one with nature.
Heading to gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min RIPPED class. I'm nursing a shin splint from Sundays run-- haven't had one in a long time. I tried ice--any suggestions? Good luck on your test run Logould.
