Hi All, I am really late check in. I walked the little doggies about seven times today. I took Mom to the doctors. She is back on antibiotics. I hope she feels better tomorrow. I have my Aunt over and talked to her for a couple of hours. Linda from bean town
Late check in - doing the evening shift this week. Made sugar free strawberry rhubarb freezer jam this am. Got a bit of filing done and some reading and now off to work. Getting 10-12K steps just about everyday and tomorrow we are going to do a little "test" run and see how the foot does. Car goes in the shop on Thurs, so sis will have to do the transport to P.T. If the foot holds out, maybe I can get a little run in on Thrusday (day off) to the gym and back - about two miles each way.

It is chilly here in Indiana today . . . I am just not SURE it is July anymore
I sure wish I were more energetic like many of you. I get my daily work and play (which includes yard work, garden work, house work, shopping, hiking etc.) but I just can't get myself into a regular routine of formal exercise. I'm not idle, but do wish I could join the crowd and say I did a 5k last weekend or some other smart sounding round of exercise. Oh, woe is me! I'll keep working on that!!! ha! ha!

Good morning! Well, it was back to my regular workout class at the gym yesterday and I am hurting today. It feels good to be back. The girls have really thrown off my schedule this summer but it is all good. I am having fun with them. If I can maintain for the rest of the month, I will be happy. Also, this new nutrition tracker is really increasing my calorie range on the days I work out. The range was up around 1800 calories. Since I am not doing my increased level of exercise this morning, I will check out what my range is today. Off to the beach this morning and then doing some work this afternoon. BESSHAILE on your workout yesterday. I went for a 3 mile run outside this morning before the kids woke. Looking forward to my shower and catching up on laundry from our nice family weekend getaway up in North Conway. Need to get the truck fixed. Check engine light keeps going off and the ac is no longer working :( Then I need to finish getting the house ready for pictures and for an open house next week. I pulled into the gym parking lot yesterday and my whole spirit rebelled at going indoors on such a glorious - what you dream of - summer day. It was bad enough I had to go to work and waste such dry sunshine. I couldn't do it for my workout too, so home I drove, changed into walking shoes and strode off into the woods for a sweet 2.5 mile hike beneath the canopy of ancient trees, around the fragrant corner of the lane that's hemmed in by blooming clethera bushes and out to the old derelict house we call Carters - for the last family who lived in it, almost 100 years ago. Now THAT's some exercise, for the body and for the soul.
Hope everyone here gets a workout like that sometime soon.
Wow, I slept hard last night--the alarm came as a surprise to me. 7.5 hrs. I'm headed to the gym at 5 -- will do 30 min elliptical and 60 min cyclefit class. Yesterday I got an extra walk in at lunch and after dinner.
Nutrition was in check but I haven't been on the scale since the big fish fry. Maybe later.
